Working Stiff
I am now a working stiff.
Sort of.
I have an internship with the Libertarian Party in my state, and I get to fold things and address things and call people.
First two? Fine and dandy. Last? GRAH!
Kill me now. I loathe phones. Even to people I know and like--I do NOT want to call a bunch of newspapers and ask them for information. And it's only $4 an hour.

On a happier note, I'm almost done with my cape. My dad got me $100+ of fabric and notions to make this gorgeous purple velvet cape, and I'm nearly finished. So much love for this project. The velvet is difficult (my first time using fabric with nap), especially when attatching it to the lining, but I'm lazy and don't want to hand baste. It's a cape. It'll be fine.
And it is most beautiful so far. *so much love*
Oh, by the way: YouTube.com. "how to be emo", summerized: mock documentary on how to be emo. A worthy 21 minutes of my life. You know those "This is Billy" videos from a long time ago, meant to teach you something? This is one of those. On how to be emo.
Very amusing. And it's even in black and white, with parts like a silent movie!
