Visited my Aunt Karen and Uncle Paul and their five year old son, Adam, today. The following conversation ensued...
Adam: I want to live for 101 more years
Uncle Paul: How old wil you be then, Adam?
Adam: (thinks) 106.
Me: Why not 107? Great-Grandpa lived to be 107 (he died when I was three).
Uncle Paul: You should beat him and be 108.
Adam: That's nine dozen.
Aunt Karen: Is it?
Me: Ummm.
Uncle Paul: I think so.
Me: Well 10 nines is 90. And two...
Aunt Karen: Is 18. Yeah that's right Adam. 108 is nine dozen. I don't know where he learned that.
The bugger will be entering kindergarten the fall.
