Finally the Tom has come back to LJ, if you smelllllll what the Tom is cooking...
So life then, work, sleep, get fever all that sort of thing. Been out some places but nothing exciting or worthy has particulaly happened... In short I appear to have turned 30. I do still love the 32" Samsung though and am filled with glee at the 360 release line up for this autumn.
In work news, I've unsuccessfully applied for a few roles so took some coaching on how to do a covering letter. Yet again it appears that I need to be more obvious about things I tend to assume are implicit.
This has led to me being asked to a manager assessment day for to become all manager like. I think I can put on a good show but the real plus side of this for me is the chance to get some feedback. I've gotten to the point where although I do enjoy my job, I do volunteer for every damn thing just for the change in pace and fresh challenge.
If I can get some constructive feedback off this, it should be enough to keep me focussed for a good while. I hate feeling aimless... which muct be another side effect of turning 30 [did i mention the ikea thing and the sofa thing.]
Plus the money would be sweet, it would mean I actually have some and could look at the whole driving thing again.
Oh, and i'm trying to think of a bald comics character without high costume demands for friday but am a little stumped. I'd choose spider jerusalem but that wouldn't really work without the glasses.
