An animal with the ability to disappear like that…

Your world must have been filled with magic.

[Unfamiliar with the ‘Alice in Wonderland’ story. ]

That was a fairly nasty cut, I assume it healed well?

Magic is commonplace in Underland, so yes, you could say that. Though it isn't, precisely, my world. I've only visited, you see.

And yes, it did, thank you.

[ though the scar is a souvenir and she's...glad for it really ]

Oh, so this is a world near enough to your own to be visited.

[Magic, visiting other worlds… entirely normal. ]

Near enough, I suppose. Though not by any conventional means of travel.

Not a spaceship you mean? Some form of dimensional travel then…?

A rabbit hole…?

I’m afraid I have never heard of a ‘rabbit’ before… But, falling into a hole is a unique way to move between worlds. I have heard of a tower being used before, but this is the first time for a hole.

I fell a very long way. That may have had more to do with it, really.

Maybe… You weren’t injured in the fall?

No, not in any way that was a hindrance that is. The Bandersnatch was something else altogether, but even he was quite kind once we understood each other a bit better.
