Graduation and stuff
So, as usual my consistency with the use of live journal is very irregular…. So quick update… I am done with school ***::Wahoo::***, I am back in California ***:::double Wahoo:::*** and now looking for a job. Dun dun a REAL JOB! ((Yikes)) I am so excited about this new chapter although I must say the endless “so what are you plans now….” gets you a bit anxious. Its exciting to talk about, don’t get me wrong… its just I can not come up with more then *hopefully* finding a job soon. It is harder then one would think… *sigh* I just hope I find something here so I can stick around…. Otherwise who knows maybe I will take a job in Timbuktu! It could happen. At this point I will follow the source of income just about anywhere!
I got a letter in the mail this past weekend… turned out I am being awarded with this big annual “Outstanding Achievement” Award for the school. This means so much to me because I really was not sure if I was going to make it through this year. As many know I got so sick with the labyrthitis I couldn’t see…. It lasted months. And let me just say sewing with a lack of vision is dangerous! (How ironic the collection was inspired by the visually impaired, suppose it is a blessing in disguise. Anyhow… I am so bummed I will not be at the ceremony… I didn’t know about this until yesterday so tickets are like $513.00. I hate being broke. That is valuable deposit money. (Nudge-nudge Alida…) SO yeah, that is shitty.
BUT… I am planning a dinner for the 19th of November… I am hoping people can make it… please email me your email address so I can send you an evite. I would love to see everyone!!!! Especially over great food!
