[It was already seven o'clock. the sun has set and the streets were deserted. down the empty road, a short straight-fringed girl can be seen standing in the corner. hands posed upon a polished door knob leading to a small apartment. she seems to be hesitating, though]

[ Arthur was on a hunting trip when he noticed that he was lost. Not that he would ever admit it, because, you know, princes don't get lost, especially in their own kingdom. In fact, he probably knows it like the back of his hand, especially the forest where he usually hunts. The moment he noticed that his surroundings are unfamiliar, he started calling Merlin, and when the idiot of a servant doesn't respond, he started looking for him, only to get even more lost. He had been walking for a while, looking for any sign of a town, or a familiar landmark, or his servant, or anything, really, when he stumbled upon the city. Although he doesn't know that it is a city since the houses and buildings and everything are...unfamiliar. It's not like anything he had seen before.

Still, he draws his sword and entered the city, being as careful as one can be when entering an unfamiliar territory. The streets was indeed deserted, and he didn't met anything along the way, but in Arthur's mind, this could only be interpreted as more trouble. Anyway, ( ... )

[unfortunately for Arthur, Matoi is too busy fussing over the door knob to notice anything amiss , come another day?

(ie: sorry prince, your princess is in another tower!)]

[ The fact that she didn't notice him only serves to prove his ability in creeping- er, "stalking" the potential enemy. The closer he got, he noticed that it was a girl. Or it seems like a girl. There's always a chance that she's actually a powerful sorceress or something along that line. Fate always got horrible things in store for him, you know, and if it's not because of Merlin, he would have been dead by now. Not that he noticed this, since he's blissfully oblivious to the fact that the other had saved his life multiple times.

Thank god that Matoi was a girl, because he'd already strike her with his sword otherwise. There is no such thing as gender equality in Camelot, thank you very much. But because she of the "weaker gender" (saved by the gender), he's going to try to talk to her. ]

Hello?

[ Believe me when he said this with the derpiest face ever. In contrast to that fine sword he was wielding... ]

[imagine that you are standing by the street, minding your own business. Then suddenly, you bump into your old childhood hero. He or she might be an idol, an artist or a cartoon hero. It differs from people to people. But for Matoi, her childhood hero has always been the prince charming. The (usually) handsome knight on a shining armor that was always ready to save his damsel in distress from the horrible monster and then lead her to a life of happily ever after. IMAGINE. Not the prince charming, the hero part...

Yes, Matoi is too starstruck to form anything coherent for now :/]

[ Well, she doesn't seem dangerous. Since Arthur is an oblivious derp who usually doesn't notice any hidden danger posed by a harmless-looking thing (normally a person), he's going to lower his sword. A little. It's always a good thing to remain alert.

For the record, he's handsome alright, he just made the derpiest face ever at times. It's canon, just watch the show if you don't believe the narrator. He also happened to be the best knight in Camelot, minus the shining armour this time (he's in civilian clothing, the cool one, mind you), and, of course, he's a prince. The Crown Prince of Camelot, at your service. ...only not really. ]

Can you tell me where I am? This- [ glancing around ] place is unfamiliar. I'd appreciate directions to the nearest town.

[It's a handsome prince! Complete with a sword and dressed in a period-proper civilian clothing! And he is talking to her! Oh, God...}

W-which city?

[ Well, he's talking to her because she's the only person he stumbled across If there's anyone else who looked more reliable, he's going to ask them instead. Not that he wouldn't also suspect them as a potential enemy. Everyone and everything is a potential enemy at this place. At her question, he gave her an incredulous look. ]

Whichever, I don't care.

[ He just need to get out of this suspicious and strange place, thank you very much. ]

[She absently wondered about who told Philip (yes, that is now her given name for him) about the existence of any city near this place, but found it very rude to correct him (he is a prince!). So, she just stares at him forever]

[ It's not Philip, it's Arthur. How dare you. And he's asking, so it's okay to correct him. Nevermind that he wouldn't believe her and once he did, he wouldn't consider it as "correcting". He's always right, okay? ]

Are you alright?

[ Well, now he wondered if there's something wrong. Because you know, normal people answered when someone else spoke to them, especially someone like him, not...stare like there's something in his face or something. ]

[She quirked her head and stares a little more.

During this time, her brain slowly processed his words, pondering upon the meaning of each of the character until she can get over the fact that a prince was asking her questions and she replied...slowly]

I'm fine.

[ At this point, he already lowered his sword completely. After all, this intellectually-challenged girl (congratulations, he'd considered her as such) can do him no harm. At least, he thinks so. If he's with Merlin, the other would still be suspicious of her. The harmless-looking ones are usually more dangerous! ]

Are you sure?

[ Still giving her that incredulous look, now with 50% more annoyance. The annoyance is kind of evident in his voice, actually. He's not exactly the most patient person in the universe, you know. ]

[ Actually, he doesn't buy that, but it's not like he cared that much in the first place (it's his Chronic Hero Syndrome speaking), so he just shrugged. He'd also walk away without saying anything else, if only something else didn't cross his mind. ]

[ A minute or two passed as Arthur pondered about whether or not he should tell the girl that if she seen Merlin, she should tell him. But then he realised that he'd probably already on his way to the nearest town (or at least, on his way of getting out of this place), and there's no way she could find him by then. ]

Well, if you seen him, tell him I'm looking for him.

[ At least the other would know that he's looking for him. He's an idiot, so it's possible that he stumbled upon something shiny or something, got distracted, and completely forgotten about the prince. And of course, Arthur doesn't appreciate that.

Without saying anything else (not even a thanks), he turned around and walked away, resuming his epic quest of finding his way out. ]

Who-

[without waiting for her to finish her sentence, Philip-sama left. Matoi then stares at his faraway figure at back and proceed to ponder about the life details of the mysterious prince. About what his castle looks like, his princess, his legion of knight...until the sheer force of her realization breaks her from her reverie. There are no other city nearby. She had tried to tell him tat. This is a flying city. The nearest one is over 2000 m below!

Should she tell the prince!?]
