It's a lazy Sunday night. I'm watching The Condemned and drinking a glass of Sauvignon Blanc. The wine's not bad, but I like something a little less fruity. As for the movie: Vinny Jones is a bad-ass. Too bad he hasn't gotten to close someone's head in a car door yet. i think that's one of his defining charictaristics as an actor, he should put that one resumes.
I already folded my laundry, ironed my uniform, my boots look good...I already did all of my usual Sunday Night routine.
And now a random story about a random person:
It's English class my senior year. There's four of us at a table: myself, her, Daniel Dill, and the guy that I can't think of the name of. Guy I can't think of the name of asks us if we want a coupon. I guess he works at McDonalds, and has a stack of 'Free BigMac' certificates. How random. She and I each take one. This is during 4th period. I don't have a 5th period, and she's an aide. She sweet-talks her way into them letting her go for the day, and off we go. We're gonna go get a free burger.
It wasn't until we started to leave the parking lot that we realize the coupon says it can only be redeemed at the Alvarado McDonalds. So we're off to Alvarado. We get there, are eating a pleasant meal in the dining area, and notice something in the kids' play area. It looks like a game. Okay, i think it might be some kind of computer game, like 'make your own burger', or 'digital drive-through'. I go over to investigate. It's actual video games, and several of them. they have, like, four gamecubes set up, and each with a different game.
I remember back in my day, we were happy to have a ball pit. That was enough for us. But for this new ADD generation, I guess it's not enough.
Yeah, Vinny Jones is a huge bad-ass.
