ohhh weekend
I really don't understand the subject or the field or the science of Sociology. I'm taking "Understanding Contemporary Society" this semester, and it just seems so... vague. What the heck do sociologists study? I mean, society of course... but so far, most everything we've talked about has coincided with my Psychology class almost exactly.
*shrug*
At least our teacher is really, really excited about it.
I don't think he ever stops smiling. Ever.
He just comes to class, bounces slightly, grins a lot, and wears shirts that match his eyes. lol
OH SPEAKING OF WHICH.
I saw 27 Dresses tonight with my suite mates, and you know what... I really enjoyed it.
Or at least I really enjoyed James Marsden.
(who, by the way, would be the one wearing shirts that match his eyes)
...but I mean, the movie was good, too. :]
Still mostly James Marsden, though. I pretty much left the theater like, "WOO, CHEEKBONES AND JAWLINES! LET'S WATCH JOHN MAYER VIDEOS AND BREAK OUT ZAC EFFRON ON THE COVER OF ROLLING STONE AS SOON AS WE GET HOME."
Romantic comedies have that effect, ya know. I even sent my boyfriend a mushy text message during the credits. (He had a show in McCalla tonight, alas.)
Of course, he then responded by informing me that he wanted to get married in space or on a buoy in the middle of the ocean.
How... romantic. =/
But I didn't mind so much because earlier today, we got off the phone on a bad note because he was pressed for time trying to load up his equipment and get out of town and stuff... and so he sent me an appology later in a video text message of Corey's big, fluffy kitty cat. X)
Oh, Jon... he knows that the way to my heart will always have whiskers and a tail. <33
I LOVE THE WEEKEND.
AND I LOVE THE IT PREVAILS IS GOING TO BE IN MADISON ON SUNDAY.
AND I LOVE... SHAKESPEARE!
