These boots were made for everything

Everyone go onto my MySpace profile. Darkness ~ Dont Let The Bells End. Oh, jeez, makes the hairs on my arm stand up. Such a big kid. But do that after you've came online and talked to me cause Im bored now, meaning its time for me to just keep writing til my hands fall off. Lets start at the begining...

Monday, work all day, cant remember what happened at night but Im certain it involved the team comin up. Same for Tuesday I guess? Well shit, thats how bad my memory is, I cant even remember like less than a week ago. All I know is, one of the nights we watched Muppets Treasure Island, which I recently aquired, and it was beasting in like 10 dozen ways.

Wednesday, work was a fucking tidel wave of shite thanks to all the most recent gaff with the base rate. I dont understand how people are still going on about how skint they are. They're making the same as they were this time last year, but their food, christmas shopping, clothes, taxes, gas, electric, petrol and mortgages cost less. Sorry, scratch that, I do understand, its cause of how fucking diabolically over the top the news is. 'The government slash mortgage prices..but is it enough to save the world from the brink of destruction?! We ask the public!' - yeah, thats always a bright idea, ask the fucking hypocrites walking around a town centre at noon with bag fulls of make up, clothes, booze etc if the governments doing enough to help them. Heres an idea, go get a job and quit spending all your fucking benefits on shit you dont need in the high street. Making it worse is the fact their claims are backed up by the collapse of 'huge buisness' like Woolworths.

I went into Woolworths 2 months ago and seen High Fidelity on DVD. Not having it, insanely, I asked how much it was. It was £19.97...for a single disc 10 year old movie. In Tescos they were selling Ironman, Hulk and other such brand new movies to DVD for under a tenner. I know this is just one example, but its exactly why Woolworths went under. The rest of the world started competing by lowering prices, and they just kept theirs as high as ever. Well fuck em, I predicted their demise to administration pretty much to the day 3 months ago, and predicted big Theo would swoop in like the handsome little pirate he is and buy out half their stores. Fuck Woolworths, fuck Alan Sugar, and fuck ITN.

...aye so anyway, Ruthless was up Wednesday night, introduced me to Despertate Whorebags...I failed to see the appeal. Which is saying something for a shop that sports Eva and Terri.

Thursday, shit, work was chaos, stayed in and had a quiet night to myself. Watched Armageddon (amazing movie) and sat talkin to folk online all night looking at flats and shite to buy for my flat :p

Friday was spectacular. Lines kept going down in work which gave us availability, hit Stefnys as soon as I got a chance to change my shirt and began the drinkening. Wheras the two couples seemed to zone out into their own private hells, everyone else got plenty drunk, and one of the greatest party crowds Red has every encountered tore up the floors like an F-18 fighter jet hitting a busy San Diego suburb. Me, Kenzie, William, Lofty, Russell, Vini, Lynsey, Aggie, Davo, Aillie, JB, Kabba, Tomo, Kav, Paula and Rory. In order, right near the start of the night, it went Pink, Kanye, Strokes, Killers, Bon Jovi, Journey, Jet, Alpha Beat, Five, Vengaboys...in that fucking order, without a break, with a crowd like that, my legs still hurt like a mother fucker. We never even stayed that long, we just couldnt. Tasty Spot, taxi home, watched half of Terminal and half of Karate Kid 2 when I got home. Go figure.

Saturday in L'argos. 9 til 6. So hungover, they'll sing songs about me for years to come. Really good laugh but. Great staff, everyone was all geared up fort hat night cause we were out for Susans birthday. Ow Bank then Word Up. But, of course, as is the way of the shoppe, by the time it hit 11.15 -- we had split over a 30 mile radius. Some headed to Glasgow, some to Wup, a few to the lighthouse, a few to Inverkip, one to a random guys house to watch the fight...and I randomly ended up in Red with Stefny. lol pretty much identical tunes, slightly less drink, but this time the addition of Tigsy, Linzi, Ben etc, a Japanese guy, and several dance offs. Another fucking amazing night. After Stefny got picked up by Gary, I wandered about with some random guy - Chris with a K - who invitedme to join him in a smoke 40 times before losing his sense of direction. I met the bold Shereeno at Word Up and headed to hers, before retiring back here to watch the goldfish chase each other.

As you can imagine, Sunday again in L'argos was just banter banter banter. And by far the busiest Sunday of all time. Just..fuckin horrible man. Unfortnuately Iv been ensnared by this seemingly harmless little blonde kitten...do kittens ensnare?..Hmmm...to take my mind off it all though fortunately - Muppets Christmas Carol arrived, which me and the guys watched on Sunday night to ring in the official start of the season.

So there we are wth the full circle...weeks really do fly in quite fast this time of year. Iv got 3 Christmas nights out next week, get paid next Friday then its less than a week until Chritmas. Haha. Jeez Where the hell does the time go, yknow?

Speaking of time, this weekend I also said farewell to a couple of total legends...

Yep...to the rest of you they may just be a pair of delapidated trainers, but to me they've been a second pair of feet for longer than I like to rememeber. No mater what else I got to wear on my feet, nothing was a comfertable to me as these things. They've quite literally been there through it all with me. McGuigan dipping at Kip Marina, one ofhe team walks to Largs, the Glasgow pillow fight, Corfu, several Alton trips, a shitload of gigs, 2 Downloads (note the burn marks on them from both years, the laces literally hadnt been untied since DL07) 3 mental years in Argos, and pretty much every other day and weeekend in between. They even survived being run over by a taxi at Tescos garage one night that nearly broke my foot...but after some wonderful years of service I think its only the right thing to do to retire the boys before they come to peices on me.

I will remember you
Will you remember me?
Don't let your life pass you by
Weep not for the memories...
