Homestuck Epilogue Idea
So, there are elements of the epilogue that are actually worth considering:
- How things work on a world where there are multiple different biological needs, explore them.
- Economy, industry, expansion of civilization
- Communication and connectedness of the characters.
- How the characters are treated by the existing population (gods, leaders, etc).
- Closing the time loop with Lord English and the juju.
- A confrontation between two massive entities, one of whom is alt-muse calliope

What if the adversary isn't Lord English, but the dead Caliborn from the alt-Calliope's reality where there was preeminence.
What if that's who was talking to Caliborn? (or scratch, or hussie himself, or dirk, but let's go with that)
So the plot is that alt-Caliborn wants to challenge alt-Calliope, and is trying to set up a circumstance that will allow him to exist at the same time as alt-Calliope.
Meat-side, is similar, with a sort of manipulation, and even dirk can be manipulated. the headaches can happen, john can go and recruit the teen versions, no harm no foul. the chain of events here leads dirk to freeing alt-caliborn from alt-calliope.
Candy-side can also have some of the similar themes, like redemption. In fact, when Calliope tells John to free Gamzee, he even meets with Aranea. What if Aranea basically begs John to save her and let her live.
So, Jake gets together with Aranea and Dirk gets together with Jane.
Kanaya and Rose are happy.
Karkat, Dave, and Jade are all in a relationship.
Rather than shunning Calliope for literally no reason, John and Roxy date, and Calliope is a part of their relationship too, a bit alien and strange, but welcome.
The conflict can arise of DirkJane vs JakeAranea because Aranea wants to bring back the troll empire she remembers rather than the one karkat etc do, and Jane, Jade, and Kanaya are like 'no that's actually awful' so it becomes an increasing issue of one-upmanship and passive-aggresive conflict along uneven lines.
