I’m just not quite sure how things keep getting away from me like this! One minute, I’m awkwardly trying to sort how I do, or, I suppose, don’t feel about Tatum-chan even as she’s already somehow gone (and when did that happen, anyway? And when did I cease to understand my own mind on the matter?) And it’s no better with Taichi-san, so flippant and altogether engaging that I can’t quite not think of him, no matter how I try - and the next minute?

Well the next, I’m up to my eyebrows in coding and math and school, briefly greeting Steve-san and Taichi-san on my way to-and-from classes, and occasionally eating (when they remember to make me). And, of course, I spend the rest of it trying not to admit that half of my four minutes of daily free time are spent playing with Tribble, who has become, somehow, far less of an annoyance, and far more of a small, meowing, fuzzy sidekick.

That continues to sleep on my face.

I swear, I never meant for things to deteriorate like this. And what retained rationality I even manage to keep at

0-o. Ok, you have to gimme your mobile number. Seems to be the only way to make sure you're not going to keep on doing this {and Jyou is probably pretty worried about your stress levels}. And yes, I will come and drag you outside at the next available opportunity. In fact, it might be an idea for you, me, Hikari and Taichi to have a day to ourselves. what do you say to that idea huh? Taichi's gonna have to get used to seeing me along with Hikari more than half the time at the minute anyways XP;.

I know, and I'll be glad to! I'm quite serious about this Miyako-kun, and I was harboring more than a faint suspicion that you'd be capable of dragging me out of this self-imposed exile.

I think the idea of going out is a good one, although I maintain that I don't understand why you've even hidden from Taichi-san in the first place. If I can see that you two are well-suited, then Taichi has no excuse -- little sister or otherwise.

I'll get right on that e-mail after this, too. I just can't seem to recall why you don't have it already, to be honest. This has definitely not been good for me.

I'll make a note to talk to Jyou-san about catching lunch at some point to at least catch up. It's been far too long, I'm afraid.

And as for Onii-chan and Miyako and I... well, you know how stubborn he is. But it's Miyako, so I'm sure he won't be too harsh. I hope.

And that's true enough. But he has to see sense through his over-protective tendencies...at some point...I think. I have, so there has to be hope for Taichi-san, doesn't there?
