[mod post] - Show Goes On ☆
Hello! ^^ *waves* How's January treating you? Everybody ready for the weekly Mod Post? Here's what's new:
... yes, the lists have been renewed!
Attention, old players! Due to not hearing from people for such a long time, we had to free your spots. If you really want back, you still have a chance (the last one, and this time for real); mail me until the end of January. I will take in regard your reason for not replying for so long, your past conduct and overall playing experience - according to which you will then either be granted your character back or asked to reapply.
We also freed the spots occupied by players left in 'maybe' - for you the same rule applies, minus the reason for not responding. Please make up your mind until the end of January and mail me - if left with no response, you will be treated as though you've given up your spot.
Please understand we're not doing this to be mean, but because waiting and waiting like this is really not fair to the players who are here and active.
Applications for new players will open February 1st. Players may apply before that - though may other people apply for the same character till then, or should you apply for a character an older member wants to claim back: you will be called to do a minor trial.
... will from now on be used as your personal yearly archive, a curriculum vitae, and a reference for all new players. Who hasn't filled it out yet - please do so till the end of January. Who has - please update it till then. ^^
Due to us being in different timezones, we've decided to make an email contact thread. It's required of all players to give an active email address you will be checking. We are still debating wither we should mail out all mod posts. For now, if you wish, you can specifically request this by commenting on the contact entry. You're also required to notify us there of any possible email change.
The plots undergoing right now are:
* Dai and Iori's revenge (Daisuke, Iori, Hikari, Miyako, Ken, Takeru)
* Takeru's condition (Ken, Takeru)
* Mina's independence (Daisuke, Mina)
If you're not involved in any plot yet, please contact the players cited - or propose a plot of your own. You can do so by either posting the idea on the community or mailing a moderator - for all plots must be moderator approved from now on, to avoid any kind of misunderstanding.
In the past we've struggled to make every player reach their goals and weave their plots as they willed - and we don't intend to change that. Furthermore, I encourage all players, old and new, to remember your own frustrations don't necessarily equal your character's without valid reasons. Any attempts at raising drama will be brought up to the mod council, before which you will be given the chance to clear any misunderstanding, though it may also result in player ban. This is not new, I'm just writing it out. ^^;
Again, we have this procedure solely to protect this RP and the rest of the players, for we're not a random set of individuals, but a community.
Remember the Summer competition? Well, we're finally rounding it up. On the next Mod post, winners will be announced - who will also be potentially asked for addresses, have they not given them yet, to, indeed, receive their gifts. ^^
Should we not hear from the winner in a given time, the list will be scaled and the next person gets the gift, so keep your eyes peeled!
You probably already noticed, but we encourage out-of-RP leisure activity for our members to do together. So if there's an activity or application you'd like to suggest, go ahead! ^^ So far we have:
Playlist: ... which has been restricted by copyright laws, actually. So we're currently looking fpr an alternative. We have used this playlist to post songs that remind us of characters/couples/groups, and we'd like to continue to do so, so any help in finding an alternative is very welcome!
Chatroom: we now have a browser-chatroom, free for all members to use and easy to access. All information you need can be found here. Please make it a habit to sign in or leave a message on it, it stores history even when you're not there!
Fanfiction and Fanart: is always hearilly welcome. ^^ In fact don't miss out Lar's drabble offer!

- should membership be moderated
