Not that any other day trip can top the one I've just experienced...

Dear those of you who wanted to go apple picking----

I've found out a new lovely piece of information today. Sort of like the time I found I was involuntarily part of the sped programme.

My step-father lives down the street from an apple-picking farm. And he has a car that seats seven and a house that sleeps twenty.

So, basically I'm thinking a saturday afternoon (after everyone is done with violin because it would be a shame to go without them again) take a little drive up (actually, it's a drive DOWN since it's Rhode Island, but yeah. Geography.) and spend some of the last nice sunny october days picking us some apples and then having a sleepover in my new father's house. Which, coincidentally, I have never seen so it would be a first for all of us. BUT I do know it has tents (if we so desire to sleep outside, under the stars and what not) and a fire place (indoor and outdoor for all your roasting needs.)

But this is just another one of my crazy ideas. I don't need apple picking and slumber parties to be happy. All I need is to be around you guys. Because I love you all so much.

(And, Emi and Sarah, I promise that this father won't make us climb up any mountains. I PROMISE.)

So if you're interested---can I have a show of hands?
