how you found out about this community.
Oddly enough, I was browsing for pixel icon communities. I saw an advertisement for your community and I thought to myself, "I wonder if this community actually has beautiful people." I've searched and entered an application for a "beautiful people only" community before, but I was shot down. (Though I don't believe it to be true, they said I was too plain looking.)
list ONE per each.
hobby. I volunteer at the vet clinic my mother works at. I guess you could say that my hobby, in general, is helping animals.
band. My favorite band would have to be A Perfect Circle.
singer. Maynard James Keenan, because his voice is almost magical. I saw him perform live (at a Tool concert) and I was, to put it simply, in awe.
movie.

tell us more about you. I suppose I should start with my ethnicity. I am 1/4 Japanese, 1/4 British, and 1/2 whatever my mom is. (I'd say typically white.) I was born in Topeka, Kansas. My father was in the Navy, so we didn't stay in Kansas very long. I spent four years of my life in GUAM, attending Agat Elementary School. (I still wear my school shirt sometimes.) We then moved to Hawaii, where I spent another four years of my life. My father eventually retired from the Navy, and we moved back to Kansas. I love animals with all my heart. I've recently totaled my car because I swirved into a ditch to avoid hitting a dog. I spend most of my time taking care of animals at Hoyt Animal Practice. I am very family oriented, and I have always been taught to think for myself. I have survived scoliosis, back surgery, and the humiliation of wearing a backbrace. Even with the evident scars from my back surgery, I am confident in my appearance. It is nice to see the people who once teased me for having a back brace, simply to rub it into their faces that I survived their taunting, and have become a better person.
describe yourself in one word. Quirky

explain your answers:
if you had the choice to live forever, would you? I don't think I would want to live forever. I would hate watching my children grow old and die. Sometimes I would like to live without pain, though. If I were to live forever, it would be more of a curse than a blessing. My reasoning is a bit selfish, though. Living forever just doesn't seem that fantastic. You would watch your loved ones grow old and die, and spend the rest of eternity wishing you could die to join them.
if you had one wish, what would it be? If I had one wish, it would be that I could live the life of a normal teenager, without having to deal with the incessant pain I feel in my back. It's selfish, but I can't help it... I love myself as I am, but I hate the pain.

choose one celebrity and bitch about or praise him/her. There isn't any celebrity that I don't have at least SOMETHING to bitch about, but I will settle with bitching about Hilary Duff. Why would she bother with starting a career in singing? She's almost as awful at singing as she is at acting. She only made it big because she had a character on Disney Channel with whom teenie-boppers could relate to. I've got news for her: Those teenie-boppers that worshipped her are all grown up. She should learn when to throw in the towel and just accept that she is a hasben.

who did you promote us to? http://www.livejournal.com/community/beautiful_us/90045.html
if you are accepted, which stamp would you like? I would like stamp nine, please.

post at least 3 pictures, including one body shot.
These are my senior pictures, taken by a company called Wichers.

Here are two more recent pictures, though they are taken by my awful webcam.
