I wore striped pants today
I feel a bit like my life is a train wreck right now. A small and insignificant train wreck.
Even as I take one thing off my TO DO list (right now that means licking my thumb and rubbing one of the words I wrote on the back of my hands until the ink blurs away) I know there are twenty things to take its place. Things that don't make it to the list because I know I won't get them DONE no matter where I write them.
I spend a lot of my time playing games. Video games. It keeps me entertained. At least until a sense of waste and worthlessness sets in, slow and morbid and bleak as it tends to be. I'm never bored like I used to be, I'm just never productive either.
"Take me somewhere sunny," I say to my screen, "Some place with birds and water."
