I have family in Genoa so I couldn't NOT come to Italy -but I completely forgot that you lived here or I would have given you a buzz to let you know. Where abouts in Italy are you?

And I love Italy. Being half Italian, I'm pretty sure that love is hardwired into my DNA. Still, who could possibly hate such a place? It's gorgeous. Florence, especially, I'm enjoying.

Wow, REALLY small world! What are the chances? My family lives in pegli, which is more the outer suburbs of Genova I think. They were lovely.

I cant believe that's where your from! Such coincidences make me smile. I totally forgive your excitement -and sympathize completely!

For 6 months that seems like a very big ask for the nice weather -though we aren't doing too badly actually. Today was lovely. And yes, Italy is amazing. I LOVE it here. :)
