I don't usually do these things, and even less frequently do I actually post them. This one I found very extensive, accurate, and interesting, especially given that I'm a lot more "economically permissive" and a lot more "socially permissive" than everyone else I've seen with it (except Joe because he is crazy and way down in the Socialist corner). In this country that is an oxymoron in our two-party system. I only agree with about a quarter of what most people have to say, so whenever I talk politics with people all we ever do is argue, or I feel like if I don't agree with them they won't like me anymore so I shut up. (If you're one of those people don't look at the result, I guess.) That's no fun so I try to avoid talking politics, but this quiz is worth it. Also, if you haven't taken this quiz, you should, just because in the screen that shows faces of famous people with political leanings pasted over the same two-dimensional continuum (probably there is a more mathy word for this) there is Darth Vader. He's a totalitarian, and he's next to Stalin. HILARIOUS.

and an...
Economic Conservative

I really like everything about college except homework and the Burge cafeteria. I had forgotten what real food tastes like until I went to the Co-Op today and got some real fruit (not from a can) and a loaf of bread and some hummus and stuff. SO TASTY. I wish they didn't make you buy a meal plan with your dorm room.

I also really like how my music is more than supporting itself. I just went to the guitar shop tonight to load up on strings so I have big backup supplies instead of just buying them when I need them. I spent a lot of money, and I spent a lot of money last week and the week before, but I made far more downtown each week. And I haven't even played both nights in a long time. Also guitar is suddenly my main focus, by a long shot.

I need to look into fiddle lessons so I can actually get really serious with fiddle. And maybe if I can fiddle real good they'll let me into the music program on classical violin... maybe. All I know is, I really regret not having music theory classes and stuff.

I want to be a professional street musician.
