been a while kind of
So lots of things have been happenig since my last update, but I realized most of them you kinda had to be there to find them interesting so I will try not to bore you. Here is some of the better stuff.
Heather visited last weekend. She and Eric broke up right before the visit, and while this did not manifest itself in tears and complaining, it came out in I dunno... Heather meeting a sketch guy at a pub and then seeing him a few more times in the 5 days she was here. I'm sorry, but it was weird. And she talked about it like there could be some future there. I was like, talk to him sober, and then come back to me and discuss a future. Btw, please don't mention this to her, I don't know how much is public knowledge, I just needed to vent because it was weird.
Anyway, while she was here we toured Connemara. Beautiful countryside. I've never seen anything like that place.
After she left on Monday, I developed a severe bronchial infection on Tuesday that *pretty much* cleared itself up by Wednesday night, and despite the slightly painful cough and the parents' demand that I get some rest and "beat this thing" I did go out Thursday, Friday, and Saturday night. Good times... except Friday...which is better left undiscussed.
So um little miss social butterfly (yeah, me) somehow has found herself, along with her roommate, to be unwillingly at the center of half of Arcadia's social life. They call us, come over to pregame or party, bring their friends.... and we DON'T LIKE IT. People will show up whom neither Emily or I talk to, and we're like, could someone at least CONSULT us? This is not a dorm room, it is a house. Our house. And we do not have a welcome mat, so take a hint. We have started to make it a point to politely systematically alienate the kids we don't want. We're bitches, I know.
OH, and one last thing!!! No directed study!!! I get to take the capstone seminar! Wooo, and it's with Cohen, wooo!
