This week, my sixth at the DMV, with seven more remaining, is almost over and has gone by relatively quickly. Sometimes I can't remember Tuesday (which is my Monday) by the time Friday rolls around, but this time I can. Either that means this week felt faster than others, or it means that I am experiencing a slow, early on-set of senility, and, you know, some weeks are better than others. Either way.
Anyway, Because this coming week will be my seventh out of thirteen, it will be my hump-week! That makes Wednesday my hump hump-day! There should be a celebration. Involving humping. What else? I know my dirty-old-man boss would want in on that. He is so not invited. Dirty bastard.
So, Wendy, if you are reading this, in response to our competition for best-selling book, I've decided to write about my summer at the DMV. It will be a humorous yet insightful first work from a promising young author (that's what the critics will say), but I wanted your opinion, and anyone else's. Sound like a good idea? Let me know.
Peace fools!
