[aaand one young man was making his way towards the mess hall for dinner. he stops upon hearing the singing and blinks, tilting his head to the side. after a moment, he makes his way towards the source.

Was that some sort of nursery rhyme?

Mmhmm~ you don't know it? It's a really common one.

It sounds vaguely familiar. I haven't heard any of them in ages, though.

[hesitates for a moment, glancing off in the direction of the mess hall, and then shrugs.]

I wouldn't mind hearing a couple more, sure.

I'm Jesse St. James. And I wouldn't say it's "nice" - it's more of an idle curiosity than anything.
