So I have this half-written AU Harry Potter fic that's Snape-centric and I had shelved it because I never wrote for the HP fandom ever, but it's there, gathering dust and I stumbled across it today, and I remembered how much I like it.

So here's my question:
Would you guys be interested in reading this if I made it about Professor Jensen Snape, and

First of all, I'd be interested in reading anything you wrote. Ever.

But fangirling aside, I'm always up for different outcomes to the Deathly Hallows situation. That may or may not come of my own dissatisfaction with the epilogue, but nevertheless, I certainly think it could be interesting if you'd be up for writing it. Harry Potter crossovers can be risky because they're so done, but I've seen so few SPN/HP crossovers that I think there's room for originality, for sure. (And although I'm usually sent in the opposite direction by student/teacher fics, especially when Snape is one of the teachers, I gotta beg ask: Would this result in J2?)

I've been giving this a lot of thought, actually. I had two HP-inspired fics kicking around in my head. One was what I described above: alternate, Snape-centric ending where a very different set of people live and die. And I really felt cheated out of Year 7 at Hogwarts because I love it when they're all in school, so I wanted to write that.
The second idea I had (which actually may work better because I love Snape so much that I can't imagine him being anyone else but Alan Rickman) takes place nineteen years later, but firmly J2: Jensen's the prof and Jared's a student, although nothing really happens between them until after Jared graduates.
My fingers are positively itching to write the second one; the only thing holding me back is Jays2 and the fact that I have two more WIPs to finish for J2, two more to finish for Sheldon/Penny, and my J2 BB.

I would read it, but then again I love your work. I love the Harry Potter books and this is actually kind of intriguing to see how you would make it work. Great! Now I can't wait to read this, lol.

LOL thanks! I think I could really make it work, just because I can absolutely immerse my psyche in that world. Now, all I need is the time to do it! Thanks for the encouragement though!

Aww. I loved everything about HP except the loss of Snape. Also, I could have done without some of the others dying too. But that's just me. I'll see what I can do and no doubt, you'll get a sneak peak! Thanks again for your help with the Ducks! Love ya!

I'll also read it because snarky!Professor Jensen is sexy. But this HP/SPN crossover sounds like...yum. Deep-fried and covered in tasty chocolate sauce and whipped cream. Why anything would be subjected to such confectionery treatment I do not know. Only that it will be delicious and brilliant and full of yes.
