4TH CONCERT: Sunday, February 1, 2009 - The 7PM show - the special V.I.P moment at the end

This is it, this is the last concert! Like the other entries, it's really lengthy but I forgot my 4th concert notes in Cali so any more details I need to add about that I'll edit in later. If anything, if you just want to read something that was super completely different than the other concerts than I hope you will at least read the part I put in the quote box. It was the most special moment out of all the concerts I've seen! really memorable! *O*

Outside:

After the 3rd concert, those of us waiting for the last concert to start at 7pm had a little intermission for ourselves. We used this time to get the last of the BB merch we needed and just walked around. We bumped into Asuka from our tour and she kicked it with us from then on. At some point, we split up with Susana and Asuka and I just walked around and attempted to start short conversations with each other. She tagged along when I started filming the venue again to show you guys and everyone back home how it all looked like, and this time there were waaay WAAAYYY more people at this time. Most likely it was a mix of people leaving from the 3pm show and coming to the 7pm show.

Now Asuka is straight up from Osaka so she could only speak/understand maybe 10%..of English..and I could only speak about .007% of Japanese so talking to each other was a bit of a challenge haha but it was also fun. I thought of the Jdramas I had watched so I tried to remember some of the most frequently used words...lol. I think she found it amusing that when we asked each other questions in English and she got out a short answer, I'd nod and say "Sou..ka." (like, "Oh, I see..." lol I think) It wasn't that bad, we found out a lot about each other, like: each others' favorite members of Big Bang (hers being G-Dragon), our ages (she's actually older than me, which I was surprised, she looks younger to me), she asked me how I met Susana and then I said Livejournal, she asked me what that was and I said like a blog...and whenever the conversation started to get more complicated, we both would kinda fumble with our words trying to find the right thing to say (me speaking too much English, her trying to explain in Japanese..lol)...most often it ended with us giving up and laughing about it and me going "Gomen nasai..." =_=' and her saying "I'm sorry"..lol.

^the sea of fans~ *O*

When it was getting darker, and I was getting hungrier, I saw a churro booth and then came that whole bit about meeting Teddy, which I wrote about: here.

The 7PM concert:

Once we got inside, we found that our seats were located on the left side again! As we went down the steps, we found that this time our seats were closer than the last two concerts we attended. I got that happy butterfly feelings in my stomach when we kept going down closer and then found our seats, this time at an aisle. Asuka even sat directly behind us!^^ Through Susana, I told Asuka that since GD is her favorite member of Big Bang that whenever GD goes by our section, especially for his solo performance, that she should jump up out of her seat and wave to him and call out his name and I'll duck down in my seat so that he could see her in full view! XD lol

This last concert was probably the most fun for me because finally the audience were the most energetic and louder than the other concerts and...WE ALL STOOD UP A LOT MORE TIMES! XD Yes, you can imagine my excitement whenever everyone got up on their own (big ups to the J-VIP though, I noticed that we often were one of the first sections to stand up and get everyone else to stand up after us!) because as you know, I do not like being restricted to my seat during a Big freaking Bang concert! lol. It was so cute because there was this older J-VIP sitting in front of me that would be dancing in her seat constantly, even more than me, throughout the whole concert and loved it when everyone stood up and danced too! XD She was like REALLY into it, having the time of her life..haha^^

GD's solo performance with his DJ set was absolutely one of my favorite moments in this concert. He got everyone up and were dancing! (at least I saw a lot of JVIP dancing, especially lady in front of me) It felt like I was in a club, okay...haha xP It was that hyped up. XD And when 'This Love' came on, Asuka did what I suggested and jumped out of her seat waving to GD like mad when he passed by our section, while I ducked down a little..haha. Btw, at the 'This Love' part, everyone startled to settle down and sit so when Asuka jumped up, I think she stood out!^^ But yay, she was happyyyy~

At this concert, I remember being really awed by Daesung's shoulders and arms. They are SO big. @_@ guns, I tell you.

This was the only concert that Young Bae/Taeyang actually ripped his shirt off for 'Look Only At Me' and seeing that in person..well..I am sorry for the people around me at that moment because I got up and it wasn't even a scream okay, it was like a freaking loud mating call! LMAO. XD I exaggerate but it was too intense..lol. He is so cut, you can see his abs from all sections of this concert I bet! At the MC part right after this was when all of them talked about that and even teased Seungri that he should show his abs..lol. At one point you think he would show it when he holds onto the front of his shirt but in the end, doesn't do it. Other MC parts were amusing too..how they came in between some performances and maybe I mentioned this before but they often did this thing where they split into 2 teams (I think GD was missing here to prepare for his solo stage) and see which side of the stadium was the loudest, making us repeat silly styles of yelling.lol.

This last concert was especially good because YB walked passed our side more often and when he did, I flipped out and it was like "YOUNGBAE YAH!! YOUNGBAE YAH!!" all over the place. XD It's okay though, for some reason, everyone was as loud as me when their faves passed by. I always always heard this one JVIP screaming for her life for Daesung...and I noticed that there were Seungri fans sitting closer to the stage with their red support signs and even he came by our side more often this time, no doubt because he saw his own fansigns! rofl. But he would really stand right there and wave directly at the Seungri fans and do his whole super cheesy pointing and cute antics. Aigoo..lol.

I remember that during Oh My Friend, Young Bae would be jumping up and down like crazily at the front of the center stage, I had to laugh because he jumps really high! o-o

[ I accidentally left my 4th day concert notes at my Uncle's house in Cali, so I will fill in this part and add more to this post later =/]

I do, however, remember the ending. The encore chants for some reason this time seemed weaker than the other concerts, but as expected, they still came out with the same set - the drummers, Oh My Friend and Lies. I mentioned in my first post about this that here's when TOP was the most playful and brought out his spiky mask, almost giving it into the standing area but pulling it out and laughing about it..haha..so close though! Even though this was the very last Big Show concert, the encore was just as high spirited as the other concerts, as if we'd all come back and do this again the next day all over again. I didn't allow myself to even think of it as the ending, as no tears came to my eyes. I just wanted to soak in every bit of these last moments, to sing along and to take everything in with my eyes. I'm not going to lie though, but during "Lie" I did almostttt tear up. I mean I could feel my eyes getting watery but it was out of the joy of being there, among everyone, and yes it was partly sadness when just for a moment you realize that this was the last of the concerts.

After the last encore:

Just like the other shows had ended, after they did their last bow, they were gone from the stage and all the lights came on, signally for everyone to get out.

And then something so touching and wonderful happened. It's like something you hear about and think it's cheesy but when you're there..you're like..'wow, people can be like this..?' I had heard fans trying to start this since the first concert but it was never successful and the noise died down really fast but on this last day, on this last concert, after the main ending, after the encore ending and when it was just basically THE END and people were starting to leave already - all of the fans started spontaneously singing "Always" together ~ ;o; It started with a small group and then it spread throughout the stadium. We all started to sing along and the singing grew louder and louder and louder. Everyone on the right lyrics, singing as one. It was the most simple yet lovely thing I have ever experienced and witnessed being there with all the fans. I felt like I was just as much a part of being a V.I.P as any of these other fans in Korea. Even if I and so many other fans live so far away from Big Bang and we are all different, this moment was like a reminder that Big Bang is at least that one common thing that we all share and who we all love and admire. And, that we can show it by doing just a simple thing as singing one of their songs. It was really 'the' moment of the last concert. That is, until...mid-song....

..the curtains began to raise up and Big Bang came out one last time! This had not happened in all of the other shows. There were no drums this time, no music blaring as they appeared, no special pyrotechnics or fancy lights, no encore sign, no warning. Nothing. The camera must have been off, but it would be amazing if a staff turned on a camera to capture this. It was just them, candid on stage, by themselves - all 5 of them under the bright, glaring lights. They came out one last time, for a final 'last farewell' (no pun intended). It was such a genuine moment between Big Bang and the fans who cared to stay and sing for them as they had sung for us. It was short and sweet, they took the time to really really really thank the fans for coming out. It was so nice of them to come out when they didn't even have to, y'know? I think that's what I really appreciated..that they didn't HAVE to come back out, but they did. ;o; No doubt that they were sweaty and tired. It had been 4 concerts after all and 2 just on this day alone. When they said their last goodbyes, the curtains went down slowly and here Daesung and GD were the most adorable here and the others had to wait a lil' for them...because GD started lagging and pretending to drag his leg as he moved as slow as a snail off the stage, saying like "Ackkk!! Aigoo!". lol He was really like..exaggerating so much you couldn't help but 'aww' and laugh at the same time because he didn't want to leave..lol..well of course they needed to leave but it was cute how he was making sure to make every moment count..haha. When the curtain got lower, he'd just drag his body down more and Daesung would - the whole time - be moving down with the curtain until he got down on his stomach (GD there lying down also) and peek out to the audience until the curtain finally fell to the floor. You could hear them all saying more goodbyes and I love yous and that was it~^^

The whole moment felt really special, really raw. And it just made me think how many other moments there might be like this that I've never seen before because the cameras were off. This was just the perfect ending to my whole concert experience, and something I'm really thankful as a fan to have seen with my own eyes and actually be there when it's happening. I wish my eyes were able to record it. I wish that someday Big Bang can go to other countries and have these concerts and share these rare moments with all their fans. T_T I will repeat this, but I truly never believed that I'd actually get to be here. I may of dreamt it up and imagined it, but geez, thinking it could be really real is another thing.. people and family had laughed at me for even thinking such things. @_@" Ah, well...another reason to believe that anything is possible for anyone. Every time I seemed to doubt it, something happens and proves me wrong. I really believe that if I could have experienced something like this, then it can happen to anyone (really! I've had some really bad luck in the past!). It may not be when you expect it to be though...but when the opportunity comes, you should definitely grab hold and work it out, but maybe things will just fall into place on its own when you least expect it to.

Anyways, my rambling. lol. When the concert ended, if the staff hadn't been rushing us out, I would have wanted to sit in that stadium by myself until every person left. I wouldn't want to ever leave!

After the concert, I suggested that we go see where Big Bang would leave from - that one entrance where Susana had been taken into by the nurse that first day. There were already men in black suits blocking off that area and fans crowding around and that's when I knew we were at the right place. I wish those guards or whoever weren't so pushy..it was a road and outside of the stadium and the concert was over, so I don't see how they can boss us around..lol..well I do see why for the safety of the stars but still..what if I was some random foreigner wanting to pass by..lol. We moved to the side walk across from that entrance, and there were those black vans parked there. I saw Teddy again and I don't think any of the other fans recognized him until just before he walked back inside. Sean and the kids came out and all the fans screamed and stuff...too loud for the kiddies though~ =/ The Crazy backup dancers came out also and fans were calling them unnie and stuff like they knew them..lol. They weren't really responsive to the fans though, well maybe just a few waved a bit but mostly they just kinda stood on the road in a group circle thing. They were really pretty! *O* I yelled out for Crazy too~^^

We just waited for a bit, and I turned on my video camera to film anything but it was so friggin dark. I turned on the light but was soon motioned by a guard to turn it off. I think this is what I meant about them being bossy when I'm like...far away..why can't I film?! Hmph! D: lol So, in the next moments, a van came up to the front of the entrance and GD came walking out and you could clearly see it was him with his hair pulled up on the front like a little apple hair he does..but more palm tree like than fail bun..lol...apple hair.. Of course all the fans started screaming like hell for him..lol..and when he got into the van I can't tell you how many times I heard and saw middle school looking girls being all like "Eotteke!!!Jiyonggie!! Eotteke!!!" , some more annoying sounding than others..lol..I especially disliked how some girls were whiny sounding and stomping their feet and about to cry..O_o I didn't scream when he came out..it was more like "Oh snap..GD' *fumbles with camera*...I was late and only got the end of people screaming..lol..another fail-cam! D: The van was there for awhile so I mostly waved at it, since GD might be looking in those dark tinted windows..

Random encounter with one of the Big Bang managers

I would have wanted to stay longer but Susana, Asuka and I had to catch up to our tour group before they left us! D: While Susana and Asuka walked a little ahead of me, I was lagging with the heavy bag of books in my hand and kept looking at the Big Show posters taped from the inside of the building. I really wanted it. While we passed by those windows, I turned to the parked cars and noticed these two men about to smoke. Somehow I quickly realized that one of them was a YG staff member, and one of the Big Bang managers! I used to see him a lot in the BB docu and saw him back at HB07. He was the skinny one and didn't have his glasses on him. I was in a really happy mood so without thinking as soon as he looked up and I saw who he was I just went: "Oh~!" :D with my free hand up right away and waving slowly. He saw me and waved back in a confused way, with a un-lit cig in the corner of his mouth, the way people do when they're unsure of if they know the person waving at them or not ..O_o..but not wanting to admit it. lol. His expression was really funny..I guess I caught him offguard. I walked right up to him, just saying, "Hi! I'm a Big Bang fan from America~" ,extending my hand out for a friendly handshake. (I have no idea where these guts came from to be honest..lol..I just in a REALLY good mood..@_@) As soon as I said I was from America, he started bowing hella times to me, like those legit bows (I have no idea why! I could not make up something so random as this but I was really surprised)..O_O and I couldn't stay long cos' Susana and Asuka were wayyy ahead so I bowed to him also and left. I wish I could have talked to him..idk what I'd say though..maybe just let him know that Big Bang have tons of International fans..@_@" Ah well.

After that random encounter, we went back to the area with all the booths and they were all taken down except for the big BB banner photo op walls. Some guy was throwing out those BB posters I wanted from the windows of the building but before I could get one, I was slowed down by the stuff I was carrying and all the other few fans there took them all. =/ And oh yeah, our tour group was totally gone! lol We were too late to the meet-up spot..ahh..that was scary..cos I was thinking how we left some of our stuff like the Fila shoes on the bus..and we wouldn't have known how to find our way back to the hotel. Luckily Asuka knew the number of someone from our bus and called her friend and told them how we were still at the venue and then her friend told our guide. They had already been driving off a little bit, but our guide had the bus stop and walked all the way back with a flashlight by herself to get us. T_T She hugged all of us...lol. The walk to the bus was far..but we got there and made it back to the hotel safe and sound~ What a day. @_@

^our view! it looks closer with me eyes..wtf..lol. again, Big Bang look so...real and big when they stand in front of our section..lol

^I treasure these more than anything else I bought in Korea ;o;

Just when I didn't think it possible, I love Big Bang "more more". For Big Bang, it's all worth it...ha~ I didn't need a concert to confirm it, but Big Bang really are the some of the most talented and genuine artists out there. And the Big Show..lived up to it's name, imo. =P To anyone who've been reading this, I know it was long, but thanks for taking the time. I hope it gave you an an insight to what it was like for this foreign fan to get to see Big Bang in concert in Korea for the first time. And then, I hope one day that when it's your turn...you must write your fan account too..because I will be wanting to read! ;o; lol <3 seriously!

Sorry for the lack of pictures, the one thing I wish I did was take more pictures. =/
*** Btw, I left out more pics of me in these posts because I don't feel comfortable posting them on public entries. But I do want these entries to remain public so they're free for anyone to read my experience^^ I think I'll make a separate locked entry for pictures that only my f-list can view though.

Big Bang concert tips:
- if you're a person that doesn't know what to do with your hands at the concert, you should bring your Big Bang light stick! I didn't bring mine from home so I just waved around the scarf..but I now see how useful that light stick is! Everyone else is like..waving it..so..gives you something to do too. xD
- don't sit! LOL
- idk xDD
