(no subject)
Sorry for not commenting! I'm pants and have oodles of work to do (but I'm free Friday onwards, huzzah!) However, the Torchwood fandom is BUZZING. Like... like VIBRATING. It's wonderful. So here's some more spoilers that make my little heart swell with happiness.
I know we know the Ianto Jack thing is on but...

Davies continues, "I think it's deceptive with John [Barrowman]. His most beautiful scene in ["Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang"] is the scene in the office with Ianto where he asks him out. That's one of John's finest performances; it's beautifully understated so it's a mistake to think he's all size. He's an immensely accomplished actor; I think it's up to us to give him that range."
This just moves me so much. To think that not only would the TW writers give us a gay couple in a mainstream (well kind of) program, but that they would add a depth and honesty to it, so that it wasn't just the shockfactor element of "we're showing homosexuality is a-okay", and it's now "we're showing homosexuality is true, and real, and has all the feelings of straight relationships." I really, really can't wait to see how John and Gareth plays it.
Also, the making of is hysterical. Gareth is adorable.
Here's another snip from the show. WHAT A SNIP. Ianto is truely my favourite person in the whole world.
And finally this. Possibly my favourite thing to come out of the last few days. Gareth is so, so awesome. You have to download these and watch them. The awesomeness is just... awesome :D
