JP trip

Dont worry about a check, you've furinshed more than enough Scotch to cover it. The trip is going well so far, I just woke up from a decent nap. It took almost exactly 28 hrs to get here, but it was relatively comfortable. Got upgraded to economy plus, had a spare seat next to me for the 11 hr flight and I slept through a majority of the bus ride. The only downside is that international flights are getting cheeper and cheeper. They used to give us free alcohol and a decent breakfast. This time around breakfast consisted of a bag of ruffles and a fun-sized twix bar. I had to ask someone if I'd slept through the meal service. Otherwise, the lines were fairly short, the company was great and the only casualties thusfar have been my Military ID and Allie's laptop powersupply. My business passport has been working well enough, got me onto base with my orders last night so I had a hot bath and comfy bed, which I was a bit anxious about missing.

There is a typhoon coming this way which means our departure is delayed. Which is fantastic. More time to explore Japan, less time on the boat. My very first trip out here it seemed we spent more time on a weather divert of some sort than we actually spent at sea. Food, people, weather have all been excellent. Couldn't have asked for a better trip.
