50bookchallenge Still trying to catch up... I'll probably finish another book or two before the calendar year officially ends, but here's what I've got to date...
94. The Serpent on the Crown, by Elizabeth Peters
unabridged audiobook... I just adore this series! And the woman who performs the audiobooks, Barbara Rosenblatt IIRC, is just wonderful.
95. Blessed Is the Busybody, by Emilie Richards
Noticed this one while perusing the libraray's mystery collection. Fun story and characters. I'll be looking for more by this author.
96. "O" is for Outlaw, by Sue Grafton
unabridged audiobook
97. "P" is for Peril, by Sue Grafton
unabridged audiobook
98. Trinity, by Leon Uris
Recommended on one of my e-mail lists. If you're interested in Irish history, especially within the last century or so, do yourself a favor and pick it up. Compelling characters.
99. Sweet and Deadly, by Charlaine Harris
Love her "southern vampire" series. Not so much this one...
100. Children of the Storm, by Elizabeth Peters
unabridged audiobook
101. The Creaky Traveler in Ireland, by Warren Rovetch
Great stories of traveling in Ireland, from the perspective of a "more mature" gentleman and his wife. Lovely photos.
102. "Q" is for Quarry, by Sue Grafton
unabridged audiobook
103. Holidays Are Hell, by Kim Harrison, Lynsay Sands, Marjoire M. Liu and Vicki Pettersson
Paranormal stories for the holidays!
104. Slay Bells, by Kate Kingsbury
Fun Edwardian-period holiday mystery. Found this one in the library's "holiday book" display. I've already checked another of the author's books out of the library for New Year reading.
105. "R" is for Ricochet, by Sue Grafton
unabridged audiobook
I'll have limited-to-no internet access until after New Year's Day, so here's wishing everyone a safe, happy holiday!
