Wow, I don't think I've updated since June or early July! To keep from clogging the group, I'll list my next 10, then list 10 more with my next post, etc., until I'm caught up.
74. Guardian of the Horizion, by Elizabeth Peters
unabridged audiobook
I just adore this series! The woman who reads them is just perfect, too. For me, her voice *is* Amelia's voice!
75. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, by J.K. Rowling
Bought it around 1:30am the day of release and finished it within a few days. Cried in numerous places. I love this world and these characters so, and I'm so sorry to see the series come to a conculsion. However, you can bet I'll re-read all 7 books annually for some years to come.
76. Dream Angus, by Alexander McCall Smith
77. Darkover: First Contact (contains Darkover Landfall & Two to Conquer), by Marion Zimmer Bradley
As a member of the SCA, I felt obligated to read at least a bit of MZB. I liked the characters in these stories, but found some of the writing a bit choppy and amateurish.
78. Seeing a Large Cat, by Elizabeth Peters
unabridged audiobook
79. "K" is for Killer, by Sue Grafton
unabridged audiobook
80. Tomb of the Golden Bird, by Elizabeth Peters
unabridged audiobook
81. Knit One, Kill Two, by Maggie Sefton
I learned to knit on vacation in August. Imagine my delight to discover that people write fiction--mysteries, no less--that center around knitting, or people who knit.
82. Tears of the Giraffe, by Alexander McCall Smith
83. Beyond Stich and Bitch, by Afi-Odelia Scruggs
A nice set of essays about knitting experiences, with some nice patterns.
Hopefully I'll get caught up before the end of the year!
