the Wall of Sound and TV
I was running into some serious space issues for the cd collection. My dad just built me some new shelves behind my door now they all fit there! I hope it doesn't colapse. But you'll need a stool to reach the top shelves unless your arms are as long as you legs like mine. It looks so nice now, I'm terribly excited. Now since the dvds were there I'll have to find a new home for them...
been watching:
TV: Carnivale Season 2. So intense. I get alittle scared when I watch alone. But you wouldn't. I hope the series ends on season 3. Not that I don't love it, I just want the questions to have answers.
Doctor Who Season 1 (the new one) I've only watched one disc so far but I am so impressed. I can't wait for the rest of it to arrive. A note on the theme song. I have the Orbital CD the Alltogether and there is a really nice insturmental track. I was playing it a while ago around someone and they said "don't you know this is the doctor who theme?" I was surprised cause it's so pretty. It's called "Doctor?" but hey, how was I to know. Then listening to the theme in the show the parts I like so much are not the Orbital extras but the original piece. (not sure how original I haven't heard how it sounds compared to the old DrWho). I think I may have seen a Dr Who made for TV movie in the nineties on fox with Rodger Daultrey. You know that guy from The WHo? or I imagined it.
Vince just showed me the first episode of Farscape, and I was at a friend gathering where Lexx was played. I'd like to see more of both.
I'm working on the last season of Forever Knight. This show has the best last episode I've ever seen. I hope when I get to it it's as good as I remembered.
Movies: Once Upon a Time in the West, The Proposition, Kandukondein Kandukondein (my first bollywood, messed up subtitles but worth the watch), The Saddest Music in the World, Kagemusha, My Left Eye Sees Ghosts (who recommended this?), Thank you for Smoking(ok), Hard Candy(ok), Lady Vengence. I'll recommend them all except for the oks.
Anime: Basilisk, Speedgrapher, Eurekaseven, Kamichu!. Vince just introduced me to Louie the Rune Soldier, pretty funny.
