Just beat Final Fantasy VII after many hours of play. Pretty minimum play on my part. I didn't try to get every item, talk to every character. So I missed out on Yuffie, Vincent and Chocobo breeding. Got most of the summons. I thought is was a beautiful game (even tho the characters sometime look like lego people) and am interested in the rest of ( Read more... )

If you're a nice girl, I'll send you a zip file of the emulator I've got hooked up, along with a half-dozen of my favoritest ever games.

Ever hear of Paladin's Quest? Well, I guess nobody has, really. You'd like it. I promise.

I don't think I've heard of that one.
I'm interested in secret? sword? something Mana. that I guess was really popular but I don't remember it.

My videogame dance card is full right now! :) And I don't like playing on my PC very much. I did play the short game "Sandbox of God" that I recommend.
I'm so looking forward to Wii's ability to get old games from the internet.
But if you've got more video game music that you'd like to zip file me... and if it contained any Metroid themes I'd be in your debt.

Fuck the Wii. Fuck its name, mostly. "Revolution" was a million times cooler.

As far as old games from the internet, trust me, it's a hell of a lot easier just to install Console Classix and order a USB controller from RetroZone. I am in Nintendo and Game Boy heaven with that. The downside is that their ZSNES emulator doesn't have a save function, so I had to download my own SNES emulator, which is Snes9x and highly recommended. I get to play Illusion Of Gaia, Paladin's Quest, Final Fantasy II and II and - the one you're thinking of - Secret Of Mana, which is one of the best fucking 16-bit games that ever existed. Also VERY hard to find secondhand at a reasonable price.

I also have the VisualBoyAdvance emulator for the GBA, along with ROMs of Golden Sun and Golden Sun: The Lost Age. Those are the best RPG's for the GBA, in my so-humble opinion.

Trust me, all you really need are my drugsROMs and a SNES controller and you're set. No more clunky-ass consoles. You may, however, never leave your computer.

And you said something about... )

Thanks for the music. That zelda track, so beautiful!

I started playing Uncharted Waters on an emulator but didn't get to far cause I never play games on the pc. maybe if I get my own someday, but right now it's it's right next to the kitchen at my parents.
I have GoldenSun for GBA...had it for a few years...but haven't played it yet.
It's so hard to see that GBA screen, so I don't get much use out of it. I didn't have any problem with my original gameboy. and I have more GB games than any of my other systems I played it so much. Guess I should try to find a light....
