Last night, Seth and I went out to see a movie and grab some dinner. The movie in Question was "Domino: I am a Bounty Hunter", by Tony Scott, who also directed "Man on Fire". The movie itself was pretty much in the same vein of style as "Man on Fire", and the story was all over the place. It was an edgy movie, from the way it was shot, to the content, everything. Overall, i'd say it was good time. Girls who kick ass. Female Empowerment. Yeah, buddy.
After the movie, he and I decided on Max & Erma's for dinner, since it was convenient. Normally, all those themed continental restaurants make me a little nauseous, but whatever, we were hungry.
While we were sitting there, waiting for our food, a man walked up to us, and asked us how we were doing, etc. "Welcome to Max & Erma's", ya know, the usual dialog to make you feel good, like you've got an "in".
I thought he was a manager, turns out he was a magician.
The Magician, Scott, was simply amazing. The guy did some crazy stuff, things that i can't really explain fully in text. But there were plenty of things that he did, even with my burning desire to dissect every process and figure out the "hows and whys", i was still left baffled by.
If any of you are in the mood for some magic, from a pretty swell guy, hit up Max & Erma's at Pembroke... he's there on mondays, fridays, and Sundays, i believe. from 6pm-8pm.
I'd recommend checking it out. And if anyone wants to go, Seth and I are going back there next Monday. So hit me up if you want to tag along.
