Post-series. A lot of stuff here are mine since DN characters have very little character development.
General Stuff:
➾ Growing up, Misa always believed she had the perfect, fairytale life. This is why she was so broken up by the death of her parents.
✟ She loves Disney and the story of the fairytale princesses and always believed that her life would be that way too.
✟ She believes in knights and Prince Charmings. Believes that Light Yagami is that prince. She believes that when they marry, she'd have her happily ever after.
✟ She had the ideal family with a mother and father that loved her. A sister, that she can talk to.
✟ She decided to move to Shibuya to look for Kira, but if she didn't do that she would have just launched her modeling career where she was.
➾ Misa is a pure, misunderstood and kind person.
✟ For this reason, two shinigamis cared about her so much that they were willing to die for her.
✟ She believes in unending loyalty that you only find in fairytales. That is why she refuses to let Light go.
✟ She really believes that the only way to make the world a more wonderful and better place is to get rid of all bad people. These are the people Light says are bad. Given a choice though, the World or Light. She much rather choose Light.
✟ She is actually smarter than people give her credit for. She acts stupid sometimes, because in her world guys are intimidated by smart girls. (Though mun should make her a bit more smarter now)
✟ She is a very easily jealous person. She is willing to kill the girls Light said that he had to date.
➾ Misa loves attention, which is why she chose the media industry
✟ Misa is like any normal girl while she was a teen. Reads fashion magazines, posed in front of a mirror, checked for zits and practiced how to smile.
✟ However, she also used her smarts to study what the masses liked and didn't like to create her image, "Misamisa Amane." It isn't fake, because Misa is a very cute girl but Misa is more than Misamisa. She has many sides to her.
✟ She is very good with make-up, fashion and clothes. This was useful when she was disguised in the Blue Note, looking for Light.
✟ The Entertainment Industry isn't as glamorous and easy as most people think. You really need to be smart because what is "in" now might not be tomorrow. Misa has to start a trend and not follow it.
✟ She loves fashion and posing for pictures. Signing autographs and just being loved.
✟ But she is still willing to give it all up for Light.
➾ Misa is not very good at housekeeping. She is not that horrible either.
✟ She is just a very bad cook.
✟ She bakes like a professional pastry chef though.
✟ She is willing to help but she needs to be told what to do.
➾ Misa loves cult-like and dark things.
✟ She is often seen wearing crosses but she doesn't really believe in any other god but Kira.
✟ She has voodoo-like dolls decorating her room
✟ She has a Light Shrine in her room. A picture of Light, surrounded by candles.
✟ Her image is gothic lolita.
➾ Misa doesn't trust people very easily.
✟ She wears a mask and acts the way people want her to act because doesn't want people to get close.
✟ Misa is an intelligent girl, but still a child at heart. She is maturing but has no idea how to act now.
✟ Misamisa Amane is the image of what she thinks people want her to act. It keeps people happy to see Misamisa happy.
✟ She doesn't thinks people are hypocrites. The society say that killing is bad, but when alone they cheer Kira on to kill all the bad people. She doesn't trust the law and police either, she blames them for almost not punishing her parents' killer.
➾ Misa doesn't like getting dirty.
✟ Unless it is for Light. She doesn't mind digging things up.
✟ She would rather not get blood on herself when she kills. Which is why she uses poisons and not a bloody knife. And the Death Note.
✟ She hanged herself because she didn't want to ruin her face. It is statistically known, that pretty girls usually kill themselves without ruining their faces.
➾ Misa is an actress and a very good one.
✟ She convinced the 3rd Kira that she was the 2nd Kira without using her Death Note.
✟ She was a good enough actress to be invited to act in Hollywood.
➾ Misa loves people despite not trusting them.
✟ Her socialness is off the scale. She loves making friends, but some of these friends don't really 'know' her.
✟ She loves people enough to feel sad when she feels she disappointed them. But, she would rather not disappoint Light even if the whole world is against her.
✟ When she makes friends it is very sincere and not calculative. She makes friends because she wanted to.
✟ She is likes guys from what I know because she has never shown interest in anyone but Light. And she believes in knights and Prince Charmings, so she probably never thought of girls that way much.
✟ She is not a recommendable person to seek a relationship with. She is too in love with Light and that won't change very easily..
✟ She loves hugs, but don't ask what is wrong. She will most likely not tell you...
