Last night, I played an old
TKKG PC-Game for shits and giggles, which turned out to be slightly hilarious* and surprisingly difficult, and then went on a treasure hunt, looking for that one audio book of the series that I'm sure we have on CD somewhere. What I found instead was a surprising amount of audio books on cassette tape and age-old books.
You know, the kind of books with pages that are already more yellow than white, have funny outdated words and spelling in them and actually offer synonyms or explanations in brackets behind difficult words like 'Science Fiction', 'monocle', 'extreme' and...'Monster'? Huh.
All of them with the kind of story in which 13-year olds can take on fully grown men, teenagers can solve dangerous crimes on their own, never call the police when they find something, purposefully withhold important information from police officers, and never get called on it. Seriously, is that bad parenting or what?
Anyway, after that trip down memory lane, I actually drew a little something:
Ah, Peter-who-used-to-be-called-Tarzan-but-was-then-for-some-reason-called-Tim and Gaby. Canon Het OTP of my childhood. Don't have many of those nowadays. :)
