In 2018 I posted 13 solo podfics, 2 fics and 1 vid!
First up: podfic!
The Mirror Wheel Eye (Naruto, Kakashi/Iruka), a Naruto podfic I'd been working on for quite a while and finally finished in January 2018. It was pretty challenging to work on because it's a long, intense, action-focused story. I've always really loved pentapus's Naruto fic though, and I was really excited that I got to record one of them!
no place I'd rather be (GOT7, Jaebum/Jinyoung), the first (and so far still the only) GOT7 podfic I've recorded. I'm really fond of the early-days group dynamics that get explored in this one, and it was such a smooth recording experience, too! I think I got it done in one 2 hour take. I then spent forever on the cover only to completely drop my original idea to go with this one - but I like how it turned out, anyway.
stay made of lightning (BTS, Namjoon/Seokjin), because I really just wanted some soft namjin to listen to. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
charmed (BTS, Namjoon/Seokjin), my second big BTS project! I managed to finish it in under a year, go me! I was so glad I got to record this story - it really is amazing, from the world it takes place in to all the pitch-perfect characterizations. It's the kind of AU that I want to recommend to everyone, whether they're in the fandom or not.
Improv (mamamoo, Yongsun/Moonbyul), I can't believe it took me so long to record femslash, sob. I love these girls and wanted to record something for them. Too bad I definitely mispronounced Yongsun's name :'( Also in hindsight this might actually be one of my favourite covers of the year
the woodland food bank (DAY6, Jae/Brian), because I! Love! Animal Transformation!! Also can you believe I found that fox art on a creative commons search? The Internet is amazing.
Just Roll With It (SEVENTEEN, Vernon/Seungkwan), recorded in a fit of I WANT MORE VERKWAN. Just something short and sweet, and it gave me an opportunity to use a piece of music that I like a lot.
The Typical Love Song (NCT, Johnny/Taeyong). Ahahahahahahahahaha, I'm still kind of in awe at how I read this. But if you're recording porn for your friend's bday it might as well be really hot, yeah?
Still Water (BTS, Yoongi/Hoseok). I wanted to record yoonseok, and I love anything with xxxholic vibes. I can't deal with horror movies or ghost films etc., but written horror/mystery is my jam. Definitely one of my favourites.
how not to run a long con (DAY6, gen), kind of a spur-of-the-moment thing that was actualy the first thing I ever recorded completely cold! I can't resist any kind of heist story, really.
can you not? (BTS, gen), this is a story I'd been considering recording forever but never got around to until ITPE. It's a really funny fantasy AU, and I really indulged myself with the cover and the music choices.
new jersey is a punchline (Hawkeye, gen), a short additional gift for my ITPE recipient! Just some team feelings. <3
A million things you can't have will fit into the palm of your hand. But she is not one of them. (Figure Skating, Tessa/Scott). I didn't expect to end up recording Figure Skating RPF, but here we are. XD An ITPE treat for idella, and a really beautifully written story. The prose is really quite something, I'm glad I got the opportunity to record something like this.

I still don't think of myself as a writer, but sometimes when you enter a fandom you find yourself so overwhelmed with need for a specific trope that it pushes you to new and better things, I guess? ^^'' For me, that trope turned out to be always-a-girl fic, of which there just isn't enough in any kpop fandom. So I wrote some myself!
lezgeddit (DAY6, Jae/Brian) is my baby. My sweet, precious Disaster Lesbians.It started out as a one-off joke on twitter and then turned into something so much more - I can't even begin to tell you how important it is to me personally. I'm still a bit in awe of the fact that I wrote and finished this? But I'm so happy that I did.
I didn't really mean to write more for this 'verse, but I did kinda set up a sequel in the first part (because I just really needed to include a line making fun of JB's hair). I hven't finished that fic (Disaster LEsbians 2 : The Reckoning) just yet, though I'm working on it. hat I did finish and post instead was:
any resemblance unintended (BTS, namjin). I was thinking about how Jin is Gina Linetti, as one does, and then the Justine Seagull scene popped into my head while I was driving one day, and then this fic just...kinda happened. It's basically just 5 Times Jina Trolled Her Girlfriend Before She Finally Noticed, and it was a lot of fun to write about these Distinguished Lesbians.
And finally, I posted another vid for an obscure Asian action movie I watched on an airplane!

I'm still a bit sad that I couldn't find a higher quality video source, because this is a very good-looking movie! But I made do. This was the first time I used Vegas, which took some time getting used to, but I had a good time with it. :D
