(no subject)
Hello Internets, how are you today? I've been meaning to do a post FOREVER, but as it turns out having a 41 hours per week job is kinda counterproductive to that. @.@ We started our first practical phase right after exams and we're not going back to Uni for another 5 months. Yay?
All complaints aside (Oh my god, I have to get up at half past 5 every morning, whyyyyyy?), I'm really enjoying myself. And I might not have as many free time as I've used to, but this way, once I'm home I don't have to think about anything work or studies related. So that's nice. And being home > staying at the dorm. Obviously.
Aside from working, I've started learning martial arts (A mix of Jet Kun Do and Filipino martial arts, it's awesome) and bought a LOT of really expensive but also really cool Anime merchandise. And exercise clothes. I just really like how they look, okay?
Fannishly, I ...uh, haven't done a whole lot. <.< As anyone who follows me on twitter can attest, I mostly just squee (and cry) endlessly about various Anime and video games. Especially over the last few days, because I had to call in sick and didn't really do anything but watching the entirety of Hikaru no go (OMG so good, even while hilariously outdated) and assorted other things. Like Community! Community is back, yay! :D
Though I have also been working on my first ever podfic. Yay? I'm inching ever so slowly towards someday actually finishing and posting it while making interesting discoveries about my accent. Apparently I'm incapable of pronouncing the word 'stupid', who knew? At some point I should probably make use of my native language and record some X-Men fic. :)
Well then, time to take advantage of my last sick day and the nice weather to get my motorcycle inspected.
