Despite getting increasingly annoyed by the snow, I am finally in a Christmas mood
I already started in on my Advent calendar on the 1st, of course (Milka chocolate, like every year) and my Mom made the first batch of seasonal cookies today. She also made Linzertorte (which I would eat all the time if I could, honestly) for my Dad's birthday next week.
I'm working on Christmas cards at the moment, which is something I'm stupidly giddy about - probably because it isn't a tradition over here (or at least not in my family)and this is only the second year that I'm doing this. Also, I love getting them in return. :D I suspect it could get a bit tedious if you have to send to send them to everyone you know, but so far, I have a total number of 2 (two) people on my list so, no problem there. ^^
Sadly, I didn't have time to go to any Christmas markets yet, but I'll be able to see the one in Weinheim when I'm going there with the rest of the Japanese club next weekend. Too bad all my relatives who were in the showman (carny?) business are already retired. When we were little, me and my sister would always get free sweets from them. Ah~, good times. ^^
(I'm having a bandom renaissance by the way - rereading all the fic in the world! (by which I mean everything in my bookmarks)
