back in the dell
Well I got back home about a week ago. It was exhausting...missing luggage, cancelled flight from atlanta to new orleans, but eventually i made it. And a couple days later, my bags made it, too. Went to the lake up by natchitoches for a few days with the fam which was nice for tanning and relaxing.
It's kind of strange to be back, but also so great. I never thought I would experience "reverse culture shock" but I kind of am. Oh well i know it will pass and it's just so nice to be back with my family and friends.
In other news, I found out today that one of my roommates is engaged!! Of course I'm so happy for her...she is a girl who really deserves to be happy with a great guy. Is it wrong that I'm a little jealous too? I don't want to be engaged right now at all, but you know
I am so spoiled by the last few months of not having to worry about stuff going on here. I dont want to do anything that I need to do here, such as get my shit for rush, make a new class schedule because LSU has fucked me over, see if I have a job when I go back to BR, clean out my room at my parents' house, go to all these rush meetings for the sorority, get my trip stuff organized, and plenty of other stuff. blahhhhh
But I'm excited to be home for the most part and I'm excited to be back with my family and friends. I just wish it didn't feel like the summer was already almost over...
