what a wonderful world....
Well I am sitting here waiting for Jenn (grrrrrr) so that we can go eat Swedish Pancake Buffet! So I thought I may as well update.
I had my 20th century U.S. history final this morning. For only being able to study last yesterday on the plane and last night, I'd say it went pretty well. I am sick sick sick though...I was sitting there trying to write my essays and I felt like my head was gonna explode.
But yay for my trip last week to London and Ireland! Ireland was absolutely amazing and beautiful. We went out to some pubs of course and I drank my fill of Guinness. Then during the day we went on this tour of the beautiful countryside. Yep it's really as green as they say it is! We went to these beautiful cliffs on the West coast overlooking the Atlantic, so I waved to yall back home :) Yes I'm a nerd.
London was amazing. I was a little bit worried or whatever at first b/c it's supposedly so confusing and whatever. Also, evidentally the Brits are quite quick to get angry. I didn't have first hand experience thankfully, but I witnessed many temper tantrums. Geesh I didn't realize until now how low-key some Americans are in comparison. This one guy bitched at this other guy at the baggage claim in the airport only b/c the guy had picked up his bag off the carousel to see if it was his or not. And this lady was bitching at this poor airport worker b/c the ATM wasn't working. NOT HER FAULT! Scary people sometimes! But London was great...we saw Westminster, Buckingham, Tower of London, etc. and even went to see Les Miserables which was amazing of course.
Now it's pancake time!!
