Musings from an All-nighter
So I decided that, since I hadn't done it this semester, I would pull an all-nighter, because every semester needs at least one. Might as well punish my body while I'm in college, and it can handle it. I actually got some work done, and in my solitude, considered the following:
-Whenever I get hyped up on caffeine (like I did tonight) I have a tendency to put on Prince's music, and dance around my room in order to use some energy. I should clarify, though; by dance, I mean I somewhat shuffle my feet back and forth, and kind of wave my arms up and down. It's not Elaine-worthy, but it still exhibits my whiteness in all its glory.
-New Order rocks my socks. Especially the song "The Perfect Kiss," for two reasons: 1) it's the only song that I know of that features frogs chirping as a melodic breakdown and 2) contains the lyric "tonight I should have stayed at home / Playing with my pleasure zone" and I think we all know that feeling, don't we?
-The semester from Hell is over in three short days. To celebrate, I think we should start drinking on Thursday and not stop until next September. Who's with me?
-I'll take you to the candy shop, I'll let you lick the lollipop, go ahead girl and don't you stop, keep going until you hit the spot. G-G-G-G-G-UNIT!
