Okso can everyone just stop for a moment and marvel at the wonderment that is known as Wakestock. I had sooo much fun on saturday, despite being let down by Finch's performance, who in fact in the band that i went to see. Before matt and i even stepped off the ferry we smelt a very familiar aroma, which by the end of the day ( and i cant believe im saying this) made me feel sick to my stomach from its constant presence. The lead singer from Prostest the Hero is a HUGE asshole, but at the same time HALARIOUS! He called some girl in the crown ugly and then said he was kidding, but just b4 they started playing he said again really quickly "im sorri, cuase im not kidding" LOL not alot of people picked up on in though.
The bassist from the Salads gave a shout out to matt. His exact words were "MATT DUESNBURY! lookin alot smaller these days buddy..this kid needs to get laid tonight!" ha. We received alot of free merch (which is always good and can never be complained about) REEL BIG FISH is AWESOME and i cant believe id never really listened to them b4, ya i can say im a fan now lol. I got like three wicked posters for my room in Ottawa. One signed by the salads, a system poster and a Finch poster.
After the concert matt and i joined a fwe poeple at jaimes house for her birthday thing, eveyrone was dead, so the party pretty much conisted of a bunch of hungover/heat stroke ridden kids passed out on the couch. Last night we gave jaime her present. It was fun to make, and we ran around the mall like fools trying to buy the stuff on the list before it closed lol..id say mission accomplished.
I am happy to report that this is my secound last day at the warehouse. My last official day will be on thursday, which makes me so happy i can not even explain. The rest of the summer is ridicuously filled with plans and activities, and i still havent finished shopping for school:S
alot of the items on my countdown have already taken place:(
ashley is leaving me in 5 days...5 DAYS! ouch, that one hurts lol. um i cant think of too much else that is going on. My rents are leaving on thursday and comming home on sunday..right on.
newho lunch time is OVER so now its back to the grind. They have me putting stickers on soy milk cartons now. Its sad becuase i actually kind of miss Chun King lol
