Movie night - OBLIVION
So I went to the movies last night, to see the new Tom Cruise 's [ Oblivion ] , and I've come out with 3 main thoughts :
-1- The red-head is bad at acting.
-2- Very VERY predictable storyline. My friend thought I'd already seen the movie, or watched a trailer, or read a review. But no, predicted it all from A to Z just by "keeping up with the flow". Maybe it was the events' un-originality, or maybe it was the fact that the story was told with way too many details that it didn't leave much for the imagination... I don't know, it's just Not my fault! :p
-3- Good movie. Watch it.
The Director is the guy who did TRON. At first I hesitated, since TRON is a BORING movie which is only interesting Visual-effect-wise. Then I saw that the producers were the guys who did PLANET OF THE APES, and one of the scenarists worked on LITTLE MISS SUNSHINE, so I said maybe this one should be better than TRON, since we'll have a mix of TRON's visual effects, PLANET OF THE APES' story and LITTLE MISS SUNSHINE's depth. And the result wasn't bad actually (Aside from the predictive-ness). So watch it. :)
