Saltwater Witch page development
Following up from yesterday, here are a couple more sketches, this time scanned in and arranged a bit. I've included the finished page that began as the first sketch--with color and dialogue. I totally admit not having the layout thing down at all. I've attempted various designs throughout the comic, but I've stuck with none of them. Lately I've just been going with a freer graphic novel looking design, bigger pages, broader scenes, dialogue stepped through a single panel--so there can be a whole conversation in one panel, and one panel can equal a page. You'll recognize pieces of the second page below from yesterday's sketch.
