Wufei tucked himself into the library, determined to thoroughly hide until the hotel's game ended. While he was sure the new claws could come in handy in the hotel, the tail lashing behind him did not make the Chinese scholar happy. Nor did the black ears atop his head ( Read more... )

Rin, who had the ears and tail of a black cat, looked at Wufei, absolutely perplexed.

"... Cosplay?"

His ears flattened at the sound of another's voice. Holding onto the ladder, he turned his head to stare irritably at her.

"No."

She hasn't even noticed that she had cat ears or a tail yet.

"They look so real..." She said, her ears twitching slightly.

Wufei snorted. "Simply the hotel messing with things that aren't supposed to be messed with again."

While it was an odd situation, Nana had often been compared to a puppy before so it actually seemed kind of funny to her that she now had two working ears on the top of her head and one tail that just didn't seem to want to quit wagging.

"...I wouldn't quite say you're a cat so you must be something bigger." She mused, staring up at him curiously.

Why she was in the library was anyone's guess. It wasn't like she read all that much anyway.

"From the ears and claws, I would hazzard to guess that the hotel was going for panther," Wufei said without looking away from the books. With his enhanced senses, he could smell that there was a canine nearby, and it did not make him want to come down off of his ladder at all.

"Yes, yes. A panther that makes perfect sense!" She smiled, not offended that he hadn't come down yet. "So Mr. Panther, what's your name? I'm Nana, Nana Komatsu." She could smell him too but the only thing registering in her mind was play.

Even in his normal state, play was not part of Wufei's usual activities. But manners kept him for ignoring her. "Chang Wufei."

There is the sound of someone stumbling and tripping more than should be humanly possible behind a book stack. Then a soft flop. Ivy has surrendered. She isn't happy with the knowledge that for some go forsaken reason the damn Hotel has decided she is a lemur.

No more shoes for her! The claws are a little annoying and she can't figure out how to move with a tail that is nearly twice the length of her body. It kept getting entangled in her long coat and tripping her up since he can't see. Good thing too or she might start cursing at the face markings.

Wufei frowned at the loud thumping from up on his ladder. Without much thought, he climbed up past the top rung to crouch on top of the shelves and peer down at the woman. So, someone else had been caught by the hotel as well...

Ivy squirms then manages to yank herself up into a sitting position and starts to try and figure out her tail. It's annoying and has a life of it's own so there shall be some extra fierce scowling on her part.

Why are her predator senses tingling? There will be a head tilt while she sheds her long coat. She's listening for danger.

Reading no immediate threat from the woman, Wufei stepped off the shelves and simply let himself fall. Twisting in the air, he landed easily on his feet.

It looks like Wufei's not the only one affected by the event. Dawn now has the ears and tail of the Pokemon Sentret, to her mild embarrassment.

She stares at the lashing tail behind Wufei, her eyes following its movements. Finally, Dawn can't take it anymore and she gives in to temptation.

She baps it.

Wufei had been very skillfully ignoring the other person there until that contact to his tail. It took less than an instant for him to spin around and drop into a crouched position with a hiss, ears laid back and claws out.

Dawn lets out a yelp and jumps away - straight into a bookshelf behind her. She lets out another yelp as both shelf and trainer come tumbling down.

Angered by the assault or not, it didn't sit with Wufei's honor to let a woman be hurt. He leapt forward, grabbing hold of the bookcase to hold it up. The books, however, he couldn't stop.

Despite the latest event of the hotel, Duo found himself a bit bored. Bored enough to go to the library. Or maybe he was looking for a particular person who might still be around? He wasn't having a hard time with his own set of unusual accessories, though balancing had taken a bit of compensating for.

He grinned gleefully when he spotted the Chinese man and bounded over to 'bother' him.

"Heya Fei! What'cha holed up here for?"

Hearing the familiar voice, Wufei clung tighter to the ladder he'd been part of the way up to reach some of the higher shelves. He was almost tempted to go higher, but didn't need to give Duo more ammunition. So instead he just glanced over his shoulder at him, ears twitching.

"Duo."

Duo considered the ladder and where Wufei was, and decided to lean against the shelves next to it, peering up at him. His tail swished a bit, showing his delight.

"How've ya been, then?"

Of course he'd keep asking questions, didn't really matter if they were answered.

From the other pilot's age and noticeable lack of wings, he definitely wasn't the Duo that Wufei had met before. Met in the hotel's usual sense, of course.

"I've... survived. You?"

Living in the hotel seemed to have loosened Wufei up a bit.
