Character Information: Rachel is a quiet, reserved young woman who sometimes has difficulty in social situations. This is mostly because she's what's known as an Alpha, or "an ordinary person with extraordinary abilities," and her ability can interfere with simple interactions.
In her case, she has heightened senses and she's capable of further enhancing her senses to super-human levels. One of the drawbacks of this is that she can only enhance one sense at a time, and the more she enhances one, the less effective the others become.
Scenario #1 This vacation wouldn't be complete without a little fun in the sun, so it's time to hit the beach! There's plenty of things to do to keep yourself busy, and with all the scantily-clad people wandering about, there's plenty of sights to be seen as well. Maybe you'll look past the revealing bikini's and tight speedo's though, maybe it'll be a woman dressed in a modest sundress who catches your eye instead.
Go say hi, try to impress her with your swimming skills, or try to make her laugh by inviting her to help you build the worlds best sandcastle. Who knows what could happen if you play your cards right.
Scenario #3 Uh-oh. You were having a great time exploring the forest and discovering all the hidden lagoons and caverns, when a storm rolled into the area. It's nothing too serious, but everyone knows it's not safe to stay out when lightning's flashing across the sky. Lucky for you, one of the caverns you found earlier would provide a decent shelter, and it isn't too far off.
When you get there though, you'll find another person already hidden inside. It's plenty big enough for the both of you, but now you'll have to find a way to pass the time.
Scenario #3 Maybe it's the end of the day, or maybe it's that you'd never cared for the whole beach bunny thing. Whatever the case, you've decided to head back to your room. Will you jump in the shower to rinse off the days dirt and grime, or settle in with a movie and order some room service?
Or perhaps you'd like to take the opportunity to get to know your roommate a little better. She's seemed nice, if a little shy, the few times you've actually spoken, but maybe you can coax her out of her shell.
