Aether Brandier | Original | M/F shred_the_sky October 21 2011, 16:09:23 UTC
Character Description:
A traveler from a world where fairy tales are real, Aether is a quiet and cautious individual who prefers to express himself through actions. Although young in appearance, he has lived a very long life and gained a lot of experience from it.

His strong sense of duty drives him to fully dedicate himself to everything he does, be it an important mission or a wild night in the bedroom. Whether his partner prefers to take control or abandon it completely, he is always eager to please.

More detailed information is here.

Scenario #1:
You've just arrived to the resort a short time ago and it so happened that you must share a room with someone else! The good news is that your roommate is a quiet sort who intends to not bother you. The bad news is that it doesn't make for very exciting cohabiting.

Lucky for you, this morning finds him asleep in the main bedroom--naked save for a blanket. This just might be your best chance to introduce yourself, chat about one thing or another... and maybe even do something!

Shannon was trying her best to enjoy her vacation, but she found herself ever so lonely. Traveling alone was probably not the best decision, but at least she had a roommate. As she came out of the bathroom after her morning shower, fully dressed, she blushed as she realized her roommate was currently naked. She walked over and sat down on the bed, gently shaking his shoulder. "Excuse me..." He probably would want to get dressed, she figured.

Last night was nothing short of exhausting and Aether couldn't quite remember how he made it back into his room, let alone made it into the bed. His swimming trunks were completely soaked in seawater at that point, making getting rid of them an obvious decision. Finding something better to wear to bed, on the other hand? Now that was easier said than done.

He groaned lightly when he felt a hand on his shoulder, only to answer by reaching out and grabbing her by the wrist. His eyes didn't open when he spoke, but his voice came out tired and unfocused.

"What is it?"

He snagged her wrist before Shannon could pull her hand away, the young woman stiffening slightly. "Um, well, you're in a... rather large state of undress, at the moment, sir." It was hard to get rid of her servant mindset, even though she was on vacation. She tried to keep her eyes focused on his face, even if his body was rather pleasing to the eye.

"Am I." It took a little time to convince himself that the morning sunlight wouldn't give him a headache. As his hold on Shannon's wrist turned lax, his eyes opened and made an earnest attempt to focus on her. Judging by the way he needed to squint, it wasn't a very successful attempt.

"It's been a long night." The next few moments were spent in silence, his attention visibly focused on studying her. "You are the other person living here, right? Would you mind if I didn't start looking for my underwear right now?"

Shannon blushed at those words. "Of course I wouldn't... I just thought perhaps, maybe, you were uncomfortable." She bit her lip, her blue eyes still holding concern. "I'll leave you alone, if you wish." The curvy brunette was feeling things she really shouldn't be, she realized.

"Leave me and go where?" One eyebrow rose with restrained amusement. Did she forget that this was her room as well? Or did his state of undress leave so much less to imagination than every man's down at the beach? Aether often forgot that between well-toned muscles and a number of faded battle scars, his physique presented so much more to look at.

"I shall be fine in a few moments..." He tugged onto the thin blanket that covered him until it covered his hips, then rolled over in order to sit up. The daze cleared out from his sky-blue eyes by then, replaced by sincere curiosity directed at his roommate. "Come to think of it... we haven't had a chance to introduce ourselves, have we?"

Scenario #2, AKA Garnet should have worn the unflattering floaties Steiner packed in her suitcase. summonerqueen October 27 2011, 10:16:10 UTC
It was something as innocent as a sea shell that wound up drawing Garnet away from the shallows and into harm's way. Danger did not make itself known until several snarls of seaweed had tangled around her calf and anchored her in the path of a tall wave. She disappeared beneath the water without so much as a scream, barely managing a clipped yelp that felt like nothing but a waste of breath when she resurfaced an instant later only to be pulled back under. The water encasing her ripples with the thrashing of her limbs, but any such movement is ultimately lost in the din of the ocean meeting land ( ... )
