There was nothing wrong in offering to help people, in fact, to Amelia, it was in the best interest of everyone to try and be as kind as possible. After all that is what good and just people did right? Still, it seemed that someone was trying to push at her limits, just to see how far she would go to fulfil that ideal ( Read more... )

Fuu entered the room, a wreath of white flowers adorning her head. She had asked to see a Dragon Dance without being all that sure what it entailed (she was only assured that it didn't involve an actual dragon) so it was with a bit of surprise that she found Amelia.

"Miss Amelia? What brings the occasion for such... festive attire?"

Despite all the paint covering her face, Amelia's blush was no doubt still obvious as she turned towards Fuu, looking terribly embarrassed. Of course it would be her luck, having to do this for someone she already knew. Someone clearly enjoyed messing with her.

"Ah, well...I-I was enlisted to dance for some of the guests..." she trailed off, arms wrapping around her exposed body protectively.

"Ah, I see," Fuu replied, feeling sorry for how embarrassed her friend looked - and maybe also blushing at her state of undress. "Well, I admit I am curious about what the dance entails..."

Flushing a bit more, Amelia sighed heavily, knowing that she would have to uphold her end of the agreement with the hotel; she couldn't bring herself to be so unjust as to go back on her word, despite the circumstances.

"Then I suppose you should take a seat Miss Fuu." she replied, still looking rather uncomfortable, but had resigned herself to her fate for the moment.

Of course, traditionally, a dragon in this sort of festival requires at least two people. And the Hotel traditionally likes giving certain kinds of shows to people who ask.

That would explain why, a couple of minutes after Amelia, another confused and mostly naked woman is apparently shoved through the door. The blue-haired girl, painted with elegant and sweeping scales that match her hair color, is quick to try and cover herself and turn around toward the door.

"W-wait, I'm not really sure about this! You didn't say there was..."

She turns around to see the person she wasn't told about - Amelia - and blushes. "Oh, y-you're already here. Um, hello."

The princess could only gawp a moment as someone tumbled through the door, calling out protested. Considering that she too was covered in paint, it was fairly easy to figure out there was to be more to this than Amelia dancing for the other female.

"That's right, though I admit I'm a bit confused." she replied, hoping that her reason would be rather obvious.

"W-well, apparently we're both supposed to dance..." Kusuha explains lamely. "Um, I think whoever it was decided he wanted to watch two girls instead of one...um, not that way! I hope."

She shakes her head and takes a deep breath to clear out some of the embarrassment that was making her stumble over her words. "Anyway, before we get started, my name is Kusuha! Um, I know maybe one or two ceremonial dances for various reasons, but I've never done them with someone..."

Swallowing, the healer sighed; obviously she should have known better than to think there wouldn't be a catch. Still, at the very least, her fellow dancer seemed nice.

"It's nice to meet you Miss Kusuha. I'm Amelia." she replied, offering a soft smile. "And you don't need to worry, at the very least you know some dances. I'm going into this rather blind."
