The concert had been a blasting success, the fans were delirious and satisfied, if not wanting more. Although most of their focus were usually on the lead singer, and perhaps the other guitarist, rather than on him, the bassist. But Nikita didn't mind not being in the spotlight, preferring to contribute in other ways possible, and leave it all to ( Read more... )

Utau had just finished singing up some new songs as she watched Nikita walk off, knowing the desire of being alone. Many have those moments, as well as she does, but she didn't expect him to be all that open and crazy. She had felt very special night, tonight, having to finally share the stage, and for most of it, she knew he enjoyed it as well.

Who wouldn't enjoy having everyone hear the talent you have?

Utau had managed to get her group out of the paparazzi and fans, not wanting them to be bombarded with the most craziest of questions. She wished to be one of them, to be able to get away, but that couldn't happen. After signing autographs, taking pictures, giving hugs to the little ones, and answering a few questions, she made it out and noticed one of her members missing.

She made it backstage to see him packing up the equipment, looking down at her right, she picked up a random guitar, and walked over to him. Making it to his side, she tapped his shoulder finally getting his attention; handing the guitar to him with the smallest of smiles. She then asked, "Had fun tonight?" It wasn't everyday that she got to be able to share the spotlight with someone else.

Nikita turned toward Utau, then at the guitar that she held up. He nodded silently as he took the guitar from her, packing it along with the other instruments. He hadn't thought that she would come looking for him, having been used to staying in the background, left to his own devices, which the other members were fine with too.

He knew he should have joined his other band mates in the fan-greeting, to at least be some semblance of support. They had, after all, been waiting for this. But he really was unused to being in the centre of so much attention, even if he was pleased to see Utau in front of him.

"Are you allowed to leave?" He asked in a distracted manner even as he continued to put the equipments to where it belonged, throwing her a brief glance and small smile.

Utau would have just left him be, but she learned how to care for others, thanks to a certain friend of her's. Her band is like her second family, besides her step-father and brother, so she thought that each of them should feel like she does when she was with the lot of them.

She gave a nod and then said, feeling a bit relief, "Yes, the paparazzi and fans were escorted out after I gave them what they wanted. So, I'm free for tonight." She smiled softly as she caught his slight distraction in his voice. Looking up to him and then asked, "I suppose you don't like taking pictures?"

He nodded in understanding to her explanation. Utau was rather well known amongst her fans, while he preferred not being in the limelight and opt to stay in the background.

Nikita shook his head as he put the last of the instruments away. "Nyet, not really. Too much flash. Can get blinded by it." His words were short, crisp and almost monotone. It wasn't easy to tell what he was thinking just by his tone, having been constantly putting up a blank face and distancing himself from most people.

He could only hope that Utau didn't take his words the wrong way, knowing fully well how he could be easily misunderstood.

Eversince her mother becoming a star, the blonde followed her footsteps and lived up to the Hoshina name that her mother started.

Looking over at him as he spoke and nodded a bit, as he seemed to have a point. With how many flashes that would be brought upon someone famous, one may as well go blind. Thankfully, she was used to it.

Well, her experience with her brother's lack of speech wouldn't help in this situation. Though, she was the same, so she wouldn't push him to come out of his comfort zone. "Unless you get used to it."

Nikita made a grunt of agreement, turning toward her finally as he gave Utau a shrug. He didn't see himself ever getting used to it, but maybe it wouldn't be so bad if there weren't all those flashes. Heck, he was even all right with the screaming fans, as long as there weren't overt bodily contact.

"Do what after this?" He hadn't an exact plan in his mind, preferring to head back to the hotel room and rest for the night. But if Utau had some other activity to drag him too, he would probably relent and join along.
