On the outskirts of the forest, there is the clank of armor as a man is thrown out by an unseen force, tumbling a bit before coming to a stop, his sword landing several feet away. He stumbles up after a few minutes, wandering to where his blade landed to retrieve it, and starts heading away from the forest. His armor is green and grey with yellow ( Read more... )

She's somewhere between 19-27ish/CR for now but it can lead to other things swordandscales June 19 2011, 12:14:05 UTC
At first glance the half human/dragon woman had thought that maybe the hotel had been kind enough to dump her back to somewhere she used to call herhome or at least some place like it? It might have been a stretch away from her current living residence but it was better than being stuck in that smut filled place any longer.

Rubbing the back of her neck she decides to wander her enviroment and see if she could at least work out where the heck she was and if she could find an easy way back to her boyfriend's appartment. It's just then she notices this strange man being thrown into the middle of her path adorned in odd armour, after a few moments it dissapears and he speaks.

"Did you just talk to your sword?" Yup Aldray, there's a rather confused looking young woman in your path, how are going to react?

"Yes, yes he did," the sword answers for him, trying to hover up to the woman, but not quite able to break free of the cleric's grip. "If you can hold onto me that tight, then surely you can stand up! Come on, up and at 'em!"

Aldray manages to get up on one knee, using the sword as a brace to keep from falling back down. He nods at the woman. "Yeah...talkin' sword...yeah."

"'Kay...not the weirdest thing I've seen but-" Oh that's right, this man looked injured and Saft figures she should at least go to help him , placing her hands on his shoulders she gently eases him up so he can at least stand or even rest on her. "What on earth happened to you?"

That's right Cleric, you're getting your butt saved by a woman. Don't worry she won't tell anyone.

He will definitely take that lean-on, though he'll still use his sword for a crutch. "Got separated from my group, ran into some really nasty stuff..." He doesn't mind being saved by a woman too much. Just the way things go sometimes. For all his usual boasting, he knows when he's at the end of his rope.

Amelia was still very much a newbie as far as the whole business with the hotel had been. It had been just over a week since her arrival, and she was still trying to get her bearings. Thankfully she had met several people, friends from home and strangers from other worlds, who had helped her settle in.

With that in mind, she could easily sympathise with other new arrivals. The man she spotted while she was wandering even more so, her eyes widening as she saw the red stains on his clothes. She ran towards him as fast as she could, skidding to a halt and moving beside him to inspect the apparent wounds.

"Are you alright?" she asked in a worried frantic tone.

Aldray tried to push up from his position on the ground, and manages to get to a knee before he has to stop. "...ah... I've had worse..." he answers, though the strain in his voice seems to betray that confidence.

His sword cuts in - "You are a horrible liar, you know that, boy?"

She frowned, deciding it best to take care of things before asking any questions. Amelia had no idea what had happened to him, but it couldn't have been good.

"Hold still, okay?" she instructed, placing her hands over the what could tell were the worst of his injuries. The soft murmur of 'Recovery' formed on her lips as a soft glow shone from her hands and onto his skin, the wounds quickly closing over and healing. She repeated the action until everything looked cleared up, offering soft smile.

"There, that should do it. Do you feel better now?"

The action brought a thankful smile to the man's face, and he stood up once she finished, stretching. "Ah, yes! Much, much better, miss!" The speaking sword is sheathed, and he puts out his hand. "Aldray Hamm, of the wide and fertile Hamm lineage, cleric of the shining Heironeous and hero to those in need!"
