ooc: it's possible I've been doing too much studying for my detective fiction class :) The bar is red -- red walls and red stools and red felt-patterned wallpaper. Thin red material hangs over the lights giving everything a slick crimson glow. The music is pulsating, deep and rhythmic. The overall affect is one of being inside the frantically beating heart of a crackhead. Wisps of cigarette smoke curl around the drinkers like the spirits of broke alcoholics trying to cadge one last free drink before going into the light. It's a seedy place, equal parts grifters and slumming socialites, and it's just what the doctor ordered

There was some seedy bar in some crappy part of town, and she was thrilled. It would be her luck that the forces of evil would choose some podunk town to end the world. The Slayers had been bunkering down as the signs came pouring in and all she wanted was to get the hell out. She was relieved when the inside of the place turned out to be nicer than one might have thought, and the music was decent

Dean watched her for a moment, taking a chance to get an assessment of the girl who'd just laid one on him. Tight jeans, a nice ass, soft lips, and a go-get-'em attitude -- in short, the girl he'd been looking for all around this town, and of a quality he hadn't thought he'd find. And a whiskey drinker, to boot -- that was a big plus

The glass wasn't clean, but the whiskey was good, and she threw it back just as enthusiastically as leather jacket guy had. Licking the stray drops from her lip she smiled up at him. "I'm Faith."

He leans forward, tracing her lips with his thumb to get the last drops she missed, and then drew his hand back, eyes locked on hers as he slowly slid his finger between his lips and sucked off the whiskey. There was a taste under the liqour, one that he already liked.

He dropped his hand back to his side. "I'm Dean. You want another belt or you wanna go?"
