I'd love to see either Esca getting a tattoo while Marcus watches, or Esca giving Marcus a tattoo. Some type of symbol of their journey together.

i'm thinking about filling this, but i am brand spanking new to the fandom and a little shy. and i've only just seen the movie - yesterday. D: does anon care if i take a crack at it anyway?

Marcus had seen many tattoos back in Rome, but they had only been on slaves or criminals. It wasn’t until he came north that he noticed some soldiers also had tattoos. At first he wondered if they were in fact slaves or criminals, but were soon to discover that the Romans by the wall had their own traditions ( ... )
