the script
I've been doing a lot of updates to the FFX-2 Script lately. In fact, I've got the Calm Lands chapter done and ready to go now. The script's on my mind a lot.
What I do is open FFX-2 and look at what I haven't done yet. I look at the time, see if I have enough time to complete some of this stuff. After a while of checking Split Infinity's FAQ, I decide on a mission/place. Some locations don't have any missions or sidequests, and I can do that stuff quickly. Some places don't have a lot of people, therefore less dialogue, and I can do that quickly too. Other places have lots of dialogue that changes often and a big mission to go along with it.
The Luca Sphere Break section was hugenormous because there were TONS of people, and people whose dialogue changed after specific actions were done (after 1 win, after 2 wins), and also the fact that after three wins or losses of Sphere Break you were forced to end the mission. This forced me to restart and restart and restart and restart. I needed to get both the winning and losing dialogue of every player in the mission. But I could only do a max of 2 wins and 2 losses at a time (since the 3rd win/loss would take me to the ending mission cutscene sequence). Sigh. It was super tedious, though now I am pretty good at Sphere Break.
And then after that I had to get the Post-Mission dialogue.
It's just a long process. I love the result, though. So much! I'm so happy with how it's going. I need to just do the Besaid, Kilika, and Djose missions in Chapter 3 and then I'm on to Chapter 4! I can't believe it's that far. :D :D :D
