i dont belive it!!
Hi!
I got a call from my friend Kim last night and she said that she still didnt know if she was going to be eligible or not to sing on our contest stage weekend after this one. She says that Judy said that she is not performing up to snuff because she gets this brassy sound to her voice. She says she will know tomorrow night and then she will call and tell me.
She also told me that she would not want to go with us to Winnipeg if she does not pass the "musical inspection" for contest. Here I was so looking forward to us having fun on the bus ride up there! I think what I will say if she doesnt pass and she says she doesnt want to come up is this:
If you don't come with us, I will get back together with Wally, AND when we are in Indy enjoying the mens Intl contest, when we see Clay Hine (big 6'7" that he is!) I will make a running leap and jump up on him and smother him all over with kisses!! THEN she will say "You wouldnt" and I could say "Just watch me!"
I know that she is very sensitive and would feel uncomfortable seeing us all getting ready to go to the contest stage when she cant perform on that stage with us, but she can perform with us on the Saturday night dinner during our "show of champions" and still do all the other singing with us.
What about the people who are to room with her!! They were counting on her to help with the cost of the hotel room! I will remind her of THAT too~not only that but she will be out the $$$ she had to spend for her seat on the bus, and for the All Events Ticket. I will cross my fingers about this!
